let me just say that joanne is going to be missed dearly. i enjoy reading her blogs, along with seeing her education reports on every newscast. I BID FAREWELL TO THE EDUCATION GURU! it has been an honor to watch joanne when i switched to 6 in '87. whatever comes her way, enjoy every single moment you can. i will for sure miss reading her blogs. what the web team should have done is devote a section of the blog page for joanne's education blogs. she would give us the news straight to the point, and of course, in a professional manner. she will be dearly missed, especially when i watch the 11am news when i am off of work. she was a big part of the family in the media business. as always, web team, great job on the posting of this blog.

Gonna miss watching you on TV kiddo but that doesn't mean that you can't type a few lines here with all your Fox6 former staff & bloggers.
When you created your stories you made them very interesting. Not sure what your plans are but I know that you will once again be successful.
May the Lord be your foglights on the highway of life.
Yours truely,
DJA

You came on board at the best of times as an added valuable member to the crew. Memorys. Wow Albert the Ally Cat. I remember as a child of 6 or 7 sending Brabara Becker a large hand made, with Elmers Glue, Card filled with Gold colored Hearts for Valentines Day. My card was aired on TV that day. Thanks, Joanne. You just brought back a wounderful memory back to me..{:>)) You are, and will always be the Best.. Tennis terms.. Love All...

WOW - what memories. You've been on the air for as long as I can remember. It won't be the same without you. It's good to know that although we won't see you in our homes every day that you will still be in the area. Best of luck as you begin this new phase of your life.

Best wishes to you Joanne. You sure have brought plenty of smiles into our homes. Education is a top priority of yours and your input was said very well in that topic. May God Bless you in your new phase of life and journey. Congratulations on your retirement.

I had the pleasure of meeting Joanne (and Vince Condella) many years ago when they rode with my mother and me in our antique Cadillac in the Kenosha 4th of July parade (25-30 years ago). Joanne left her mail in our car and I made sure to get it back to her. So Thanks For The Memories and may God keep you happy!

ps: Thanks also to Vince for my life long love of meteorology

Good luck, JoAnne. It was fun. Time sure flies doesn't it? I remember you from way back in your days at TMJ-4. I was a guest int he control room one day when you were doing the noon news there. I still recall how relaxed you were. I could see you swinging your legs back and forth under the desk as you read the news. Hope that you get to enjoy many, many hot sunny days playing tennis!
