Blogapalooza 2.0 is Saturday, March 24th from 10:00am to noon, and you don't wanna miss it! We'll have live news coverage, attendance prizes and myFOXstl.com stickers for all bloggers, plus food from the St. Louis Bread Company! So, go through this checklist before you head out the door!

1. Get directions to the FOX 2 Studios. We are located at 5915 Berthold Avenue. That's at the corner of Hampton and Highway 40 just south of Forest Park. Click here for a Google Map.

2. If you plan on blogging during the event, pack your laptop computer. If the laptop does not have wifi capabilities, just connect to one of our wireless hubs. If you do not have a laptop, that's ok. FOX 2 will have a couple on site for you to use (or quickly make friends with other bloggers).

3. Bring a digital camera. You never know which FOX 2 personality is going to show up wanting a photo with YOU! And SkyFOX will be landing, and you're welcome to take pictures in front of it. Plus, you can post your photos to your blog.

4. Arrive on time. The event starts at 10:00am, but some bloggers have e-mailed us saying they're coming early to get a good parking spot.

BONUS: FOX 2 will be sharing some inside scoop about some enhancements to the blogs and some new ways we're planning on featuring the best bloggers. So, you'll have to come out to know what we've got up our sleeves!

We had a great time at the Coffee Cartel Tuesday night, and I'd like to thank the bloggers who stopped by and met other bloggers for the first time face to face. And to those who created new accounts at the event, welcome to the new face of the community known as the myFOX blogs. I can assure you FOX 2 will be planning more meet-ups in 2007. You guys were the first of something big for FOX 2. We hope to have future gatherings in other locations so that everyone can participate without traveling too far.

Congrats to those who won great prizes, such as Winter Wonderland passes, tickets to Cats at the Fox Theatre, FOX 2 hats and shirts and other FOX goodies.

We didn't know what to expect at the event. The station has walked into new territory, and quite frankly we like it and can't wait for the next one.

For those who couldn't make it but watched the live feed, I hope it was entertaining. You probably heard phone conversations, saw some funny faces and watched Elliot Weiler doing his news cut-ins.

It's been a great night here at the Coffee Cartel in the Central West End. And FOX 2 personalities have been meeting the bloggers for the very first time, too. Tom O'Neal, Sandy Miller, Elliott Davis, Elliot Weiler, Paul Schankman, Roche Madden, John Pertzborn, Glenn Zimmerman...along with the Web Team (Patrick, Jill, Vera and David back at the station).

Once you're settled, fire up your computer and find the wifi connection labeled "cartel" or "Coffee Cartel2". The Coffee Cartel's coverage area includes the store and patio.
