Okay Pet Owners... I would LOVE your opinion! 

My 4-year old son REALLY wants a new kitty.  We lost our 15-year old cat a few months ago, and he's never gotten over it.  We're all ready to "move on", now.

We're going to adopt a cat, to save a life, but do you think it's best to get a new kitten we can all form to our personalities, one that's a little older and mature, or an adult kit cat, so that we know if it's going to like children or not?

Yes, it must've been a bizarre sight, if anyone looked out the window... I was running around the station parking lot... trying to catch the largest flakes... I also realize our snow if probably "full" of pollution.... but talk about taking me back to early childhood.

Ahhh... it's definitely the most WONDERFUL time of the year!  I certainly always remember "the reason for the season" - Jesus' birthday...

but I can't help LOVE turning on the ole tube and finding one of the classics... like Rudolph, Frosty, etc. 

Those tie for my 2-favorite t.v. traditions I have to catch EVERY year.  What's your favorite?  (movies, too.. there's a lot of 'em!) 

I'm so thankful for all of my wonderful family and friends... for doing the job I love. 

AND.... for all the yummy food we get to eat on Thanksgiving. 

I adore my grandma's (actually known as Mam-ma) thick, sugary, sweet potatoes and my mom's broccoli 'n rice casserole.

What is your favorite tradition?

A woman in Ohio is suing Victoria's Secret, b/c her bra gave her a severe rash. 

Her lawyer says it may have formaldehyde in it. 

How "hacked off" would you be with such a sensitive rash - either on yourself ladies - or on your loved ones, men?

Adorable Gina Incandela has battled autism all of her 6-years of life - but wow - is she a hit!  In fact, she just recorded her first hit - "I Dare to Dream."  She has supposedly sung at thousands of sports stadiums across the country... and only a few years ago, she couldn't tolerate noisy places.  When she was 3 years old and trying to talk - she learned to sing in speech therapy.  Singing helped her speaking - and now look how far she's come!  Don't you think she and her family are truly living their dream?!

Doesn't it feel soooo good to watch those gas prices keep falling?!  

We were told a while back we were paying a lot more for things like groceries & airline tickets b/c of HIGH gas prices...

But now, that the gas bill is going down, have you seen the dollar amount dwindling at your favorite shopping spot or airline?

So, what's most important to you, during this heated election...

Economy?

Health Care?

Something else?

So how ya feeling right now?

The Election will be over in just a few hours... you thrilled or all stressed out?

How will you feel AFTER our next President has been named?

(Regardless if it's the candidate you voted for)...

"Bummed" there won't be as much political talk?

or completely relieved that all of the campaigning is over?

So, this weekend we'll all turn our clocks back an hour.... and GAIN an hour of sleep.  (whahooo!).

But that means - it gets dark oh so early...

The question I pose to you:  Is it worth a lil' extra shut-eye... and do you enjoy dark, cold nights ---

or are you like me --- and would prefer  to "spring forward" for bright, shiny spring nights?

Smell my feet... give me something good to eat...

Where do all the awful sayings come from?  '-)   Regardless - I'm just like a kid, when it comes to Halloween.  I love decorating my home - every inch of inside and out --- nothing too scary -- just fun & festive.

So, do you "go ALL out"?   Are you dressing up this year?  If you have children, do you enjoy dressing them up, more so than yourself? 

Ghost & Goblin or Angel & Prince?

The red silhouettes symbolize the 18 men, women, and children who died of domestic violence in our area, last year.  I got to be the Keynote Speaker at the Katy Christian Ministries "Silent Witness" program.  It reduced me to tears.  I am so thankful to have kind, loving parents and a gentle husband. 

Unfortunately, a dear friend of mine suffered from domestic violence throughout her childhood.  Do you know someone who has suffered from abuse?  How can we, as a society, help end the silence of domestic violence? 

Could these words mean more to us now?  :)
