I have very fond memories of Christmas Eve with my Grandparents.We are talking VERY  old-school Sicilians.Christmas Eve in Sicily was always referred to as the "Night of the 7 Fishes".Each one had a different meaning and tradition.Also on the menu was all kinds of pasta and of course Zeppolies.After we all ate like pigs and enjoyed our family(which as the years went by we all FIT in Grandma's house) at Midnight we opened our gifts.Even though they are long deceased I STILL keep up the traditon in my house mixed in with some MrsMovieman's Oriental traditon.
