Does this scare anybody????

 Government controlled education,healthcare,retirement,business,industry,banki
ng and manufacturing.
A government disconnected from her constituents. Runaway spending leading to economic disaster. Tax rate nearing or over 50%. The most liberal Congress and President since FDR and a filibuster proof Congress. Crushing tax load on the public and most homeowners financial situations are in turmoil. Looks like America needs someone to "take care"of her. Now Americans are willing  to accept our own military on the streets for protection(or enforcement). Looks to me like we blew through Socialism right to Communism all in a matter of a few weeks. I'm burying my cars, tractor and other things of value until America regains her senses....if it's not too late

While I need to brush-up on all the ins and outs of Communism, I could see how this comes across as such.

However - and I know this would be treading a super-fine line - if local governments are cutting our police by so much, we do need someone to protect us. I'd almost rather see our troops protecting us here at home than meddling in another country's business.

...But at the same time (since I'm trying to get better at seeing multiple points of view), an argument could be made that government should take the money it would use to pay the troops and give it back to cities to beef up law enforcement.

But hey...America voted for "change".

51% of America voted for change at best. A large percentage of them just voted against the Republicans in principle and the war they blame Bush for, and another large portion of that 51% just voted to have the first black President. So the change they voted for was not communism, just a lot less of Bushism. This current president elect does scare the crap out me, look at his gang. They are all bullies. Whenever somebody points out a mistake or discepancy in what he says, he makes it out that it's a game, either by him, or the press. Remember his response to the lipstick on a pig remark. He equated the run for president as a sport. When reporters pointed out his dismissal of Hillary Clintons foreign policy experience while campaigning at his announcement appointing her Secretary of State, he said the reporters where having fun pointing that out and dismissed it. We have a President Elect that seems to have no sense of remorse, he's just having fun, with a bunch of enforcers at his command. Am I the only one who sees a problem with this??

I look at it this way. Maybe people will wake the heck up after they see the change brought about. I always said be careful what you wish for. Maybe this is what it takes for people to realize.
