I don't know if anyone heard, that on Wed. at Burroughs Middle School they had a hour to a hourand half lock down..... I guess channel 4 was at the school... From a person on the inside said it all started with a "student" using a cell phone and a teacher trying to stop or take the phone away... The "student" then used the cell to hit the teacher upside the head!!!!!   The whole school then turned into a zoo!!!!!!!!!!   Well the person from the school described it like a jungle of wild animals!!!!!    They where jumping around cheering the others to fight  and running threw the halls and hitting people to just start fights. Yes you read that right running in the halls and hitting students!!!  The employee said that these teachers can't even control them!!!!!!  And alot are afraid for their lives and the innocent students lives..... And the comment was said that  the MPS is going to have to be ran like prisons!!!!   Now, we have it happening more and more.  The employee said that a fight was going to start in the lunch room and a teacher that knew she could not control the situation had to let the fight happen and she had to go get security.... Maybe those schools that are closed, should open up like a boot camp school and send these "students" there that have other things on their minds other than studying so the good or serious students can learn without the fear and teachers can do what they are paid to do teach..  not be correctional officers     Just wanted to vent cant believe what is going on here ...  Iam a MPS Grad!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Class of 89  Mad house Crue
