Michelle should win an award for the performance she has just delivered to the DNC!  She whole heartedly threw in every icon of Americana except a puppy dog on Christmas morning and an apple pie.  She did get in the fact that her dad had to use TWO canes to walk across the room to kiss her mom.  Heaven help us all, and I wish she would change her name!

Not bad for a woman that was never proud of her country until her husband started to run for president! That just tells me she DID NOT write that speech! As disingenuous as that speech was, I would rather listen to her again than sit through another Teddy "The Lady Killer" Kennedy speech! He made me physically ill!

I was waiting for her to go into a rap session. She was getting into the rhythm wasn't she? Didn't she sort of go against the DNC platform? She kept saying, if you go to school and work hard you can achieve the American dream. That goes against all the entitlement programs doesn't it? What she forgot to say was, be lazy we will see to it the government provides everything you need.
What a crock of poopoo. They say one thing and mean another. What about Caroline? That was pretty low key too. The only man besides her father that ever inspired her is Obama. Gee, I thought they lived a Camelot life. It must be pretty boring to be a Kennedy nowadays. Teddy was a lot spunkier than I hoped for (sorry, that wasn't very nice).

I didn't watch it mainly because I didn't want to hear anything miss prissy pants had to say. I'm just soooo glad that she is finally glad to be an American. Now salute that flag and show your hubby how it's done if you're so proud.

I thankfully, had my barf bag nearby.... What happened to the claim, that she was going to tell people about the "real" Obama. Let us know who the real Obama is......

Seems like others, know her husbands history better than she does. OUCH!!!

MO,

Why wouldn't we watch? We are Americans. How could I base an opinion with only half the facts? Wait.....I see a lot of the folks on the left doing that all the time. Nevermind. I'll still watch though. I suggest you do the same for both conventions.

I am so sorry I missed teddy, i'm sure it was a sight to behold. I'm going to search youtube for his speech. The main reason I want to see it is because the highlight clip I saw he actually looked sober. I know, it was just a flash clip. He's a nice'n

I watched both last time. I figure this time I'll watch the highlights afterward. Neither candidate speaks for me so I'll be flipping a coin in the booth.

I can say that if I were Michelle, I'd have been nervous as allgetout. But I loathe public speaking. One has to know people are just waiting to tear your every word and gesture apart. hehehehehehehehe I would hurl & pass out under the public scrutiny giving them all something to talk about the next day.

A+ for guts.

MO, you know that we have to watch the enemy otherwise we wouldn't know what we are up against, even if a barf bag is required as the Good Pastor stated.

Her speech could not have been written by her as it is the fundamental foundation of the Republican Party, free will and capitalism. She showed her true entprepreneurial spirit, not one of entitlement.

I sincerely believe she is saying to all that work hard, work just a little harder and we'll tax the crap out of you to support those that chose NOT TO WORK!

Kennedy, I've seen too many times....no reason to watch that rerun.

michele obama lost any respect I had for the democrap party the first time I heard her open her big mouth. In no uncertain terms, she said that she was not proud about anything that the United States as done or accomplished in history. The only thing she was proud of is that a black man has achived status of a presidential candidate. It's too bad she won't spend one night in the whitehouse.

It's really funny how the dnc want's everyone to believe that all of the other democrap candidates all had the same values and ideas now that it's all but over (candidate selection). Personally, I don't think its right to ignore your own values just because you want your party to be in charge of the world, no matter what. Shouldn't experiance count for anything?

Public speaking is difficult, you are putting yourself out there. I have had the opportunity many times. Including a presentation to our U.S. Corporate banking office on 5th Avenue for SunTrust. The key is to practice, practice and practice some more until the words roll off your tongue. You don't even know what you are saying except delivering the pitch.....it's all words well choregraphed. The person delivering the speech doesn't have to know the meaning behind the speech, only to deliver it eloquently so that the buyer will buy.

Right on Madam Pres. Buyer beware... I have ordered a box of vibrant colored barf bags. Perhaps I should do a little pep rally to disperse them. Last night was bad enough, I may have to include a Pepto-Bismol giveaway as well. UGH

**the pastor is going to FedEx a giveaway bag to Hillary, she's going to need it tonight**

I think I'm buying. I thought she seemed sincere and is finally learning what it takes to support her husband PROPERLY for president.

By the way cadman. Experience shoudl DEFINATELY account for something. Just look at the last eight years. Hell look at the last sixteen years, that should get you motivated. But do yourself, me, and everyone else a favor and leave Lewinski out of it. It had absolutely NOTHING to do with the state of the economy during that administration.

The song played to introduce her was "Isn't she Lovely"..Stevie Wonder. I wonder what they would have played if it was Bill up there for Hill. Better yet, what song are they going to play tonight for Hillary?
My guess...."The ol gray mare ain't what she used to Be"
What is your guess?

I was thinking one thing when I was watching Michelle and that was , what a beautiful family they have, and what a wonderful thing it would be for a black family to be in the White HOuse and lead this country. I am ready for something like that for our country. But their former teachers are marxists and socialists and former terrorists and throw in that radical racist minister that has been their mentor for 20 years and it angers me that they even think that we would not look at those things.

RandyLoo, they are only looking at this moment in time. Michelle's performance was scary, for a "rookie" she delivered a dramatic speech that is beyond compare. Even Hillary should be scared!

The scariest thing was Kieth Obamameyer praising M.O.'s speech afterward. The lib media is running the Obama campaign.

I can only watch the news to see if we're going to get slammed by a hurricane or not.

I'm waiting for OUR Michelle to address the RNC - you go, girl!

I didn't see the speech but I caught enough in snippets. I didn't hear anything that impressed me. More empty stuff just like hubby. All f@rt and no smell.

And the pieces that I caught of the Kennedys was more than enough to have me reaching for the barf bag.

If ever there was a piece of garbage in the Senate, it's Teddy. Neal Boortz calls him a pig except that that is denigrating to swine worldwide.

Michelle (D - not O) for President!

I finally watched the YouTube last night. As far as speeches go, it was ok. She did gracefully move past the few stumbles she had. Whereas I would have had that deer-in-the-headlights look and puked and passed out again.

MadamePresident should indeed speak at the RNC. It would give us something meaningful to actually watch with these things instead of the contrived circuses they are. DNC = Hope and the RNC = Fear. Same crap as last time.

We should make a new rule. You will live up to your campaign promises or you will be removed from office. Period. I bet both sides would choose their 'promises' more carefully if accountability came w/those words?

blah...

hehehehehehehe.... C.R.A.P. But the "S"-word would work well too.

Having recently accepted the nomination of a fellow blogger to run for President I felt it was appropriate to update my profile. I have lived in Florida for a long time, but have lived in 13 States in total. I feel that having lived in a quarter of the states I am qualifed to be President. I do have a political affilialtion, however that is not important, I will do what is best. If you contribute to my campaign I promise to make promises that you want to hear!!!! If you don't vote for me, don't vote for anyone, no sense in wasting your time!
