Happy Friday!!!!

A lot happened this week that we didn't get a chance to talk about.

-Anna Nicole Smith died yesterday. Very sad, very unexpected.

-John Amaechi, the ex-NBA player saying he's gay, and some of the unusual comments made by current NBA players.

-All these bomb threats lately.

-The ACLU says flipping the bird is protected by free speech. A guy was cited for disorderly conduct for giving police the one finger salute.

Plus, anything else you want to talk about...because It's Friday!

Have a great weekend,

   Todd

I'm sorry but the comment that I heard about Service Men and Women should be allowed to get their plastic surgery to make them feel better was about the craziest thing I've heard in awhile.

I mean seriously is a Boob job or some Lipo Suction really going to help someone that has seen so much death and destruction? Are you Kidding me?! WoW just WoW.

John Amaechi handled is sexuality the way people should. When he was a public figure he kept his drama private, now that he's a private citizen he has made it public, showing that gay isn't a hindrance to success.

We create the environment that causes people to hide their true selves. So what he's gay, he was a good player. He kept the truth a secret because too many people would have made it an issue, when it really wasn't. We have to get past judging people for things we don't understand. It's not my lifestyle, but who am I to judge!

If John Amaechi were such a good basketball player, he wouldn't have been a journeyman role player. The fact is, he wasn't that good and nobody cares if he's gay, straight, bi or dead.

No, I don't drink coffee, even though I get up at 2:30AM every morning. Todd Meany here, if you didn't guess. I do love working in the mornings though. The crew is great, and it's nice to be home in the afternoon so I can hang out with my 3 boys.
