What's with Paula??

If you haven't seen the latest video of Paula Abdul during an interview, she basically looks like she's medicated or drunk. Slurring her words, closing her eyes for long periods, acting way too excited to be on tv. Her publicist claims that she was tired after 3 days of interviews and appearance.
Remember last year, when viewers kept commenting that Paula looked drunk or stoned on a couple episodes of American Idol?
It makes me wonder about this "condition" that Paula keeps mentioning. Is Idol too much for her? If she continues to be seen in public acting weird, if she should take a break from the show, or should Idol come forward with some sort of explanation so people don't keep assuming she's got a problem.

I personally feel that you are making a mountain out of mole hill. From what I understand there are three incidents combined with someone seeing her drunk and suddenly she is not fit to judge. Sounds like people are looking for dirt where I personal think there is none.

Take a good look at the bags under her eyes she is, in my opinion, exhausted and acting the way exhausted people act, slap happy. Do you really think Simon would let her continue to be on the show if there was something actually wrong?

I would like to reply by saying that Paula is one fine lady and a great singer. I've been drunk and although I act goofy, kinda like her I guess I know how I feel and think durring the time I was drunk. Well not drunk but I would take a PM non-asprin that helps me sleep with a couple of beers, three beers. That can really make a person tired. LOL. Bottom line for me is. If you don't experience being tired or having jet lag or what I do, for that matter being able to talk in the "Other persons experience" I don't see how anyone can make any comment at all. Except the fact that Paula looked pretty goofy and cute to me. God bless you all, mostly you Paula. I hope and wish that God shows you a smiley face in the clouds as he did me. :-) Not an idol singer at all, maybe a hound dog.LOL ---> from Karl.

Paula was acting more than drunk,, and she had to keep sniffing to clear her nose, she was high,,and this is not the first time she has been like this on the show,, she should go.

I would hate to be under a microscope all the time. Maybe she has a cold. Maybe she had a few too many glasses of wine. Maybe she is tired.

It doesn't matter what we all think her problem is. Idol is making Fox lots of money, so I'm sure no matter what Paula's problem is, as long as she's making them money, she's here to stay.

Well Pikie you have a point,, she helps make them lots of money, and she has lots of money so she is probably here to stay,, People in show-biz know how their lives are going to be it is just to bad so many of them end up using drugs or alcohol,, I mean I like a few drinks now and again,, but would not over do it and then go some where and be in front of millions of people and make a total ass of myself,, exspecially in her postion,, she always seems to be the one they are looking at under the microscope

Well after just seeing her interview on the news I would have to say she looked pretty something. It certainly didn't look like being tired to me.

No, I don't drink coffee, even though I get up at 2:30AM every morning. Todd Meany here, if you didn't guess. I do love working in the mornings though. The crew is great, and it's nice to be home in the afternoon so I can hang out with my 3 boys.
