First thing I would like to know is why was this not on the news. Oh yeah I forgot our lovely mayor does not want anything bad about his town to be known to the public.
On May 3rd at the Valley of Flowers Festival there was a shooting ( sometime after dark ) it then traveled down Patterson Rd to Limedale Lane, and more shots were fired in this quiet neighborhood, a drive by shooting. This happened around 9:30 pm, the kids involved went through 3 of my neighbors yard and ran to St. Ferdinand Park where they were caught and arrested. There was one victim who apparently was shot in the rear end. The driver of the car is still on the loose.
What do we have to do to protect ourselves against this kind of crime? What should be done about the Valley of Flowers Festival? I wonder if it should just be shut down completely due to the rising number of gangs that seem to come here just to start trouble. What a shame for the good citizens of Florissant and the surrounding communities. Should the mayor start putting up metal detectors and limit the entrance to one? How do we stop this from happening again? For the last 4-5 years the trouble seems to just get worse!
I for one will probably not return nor allow my son to go. I know we should not run but I want to protect my family from these gangs. It really hits you hard when it comes into your quiet neighborhood. No we cannot run but we can hide. As I asked in the beginning of the blog WHY WAS THIS NOT ON THE NEWS?????

I was just wondering why cant i find the live video from ellington with Chris Regnier???? my dads house is being shown over and over again, the one with the green van in the driveway. i found the one from Roche and Shawn just not the other one.

i just have a ? my mother was on her way back to missouri and stopped in your town of atlanta, while watching the news she came across a story about jr. high or high school students putting condoms on 3rd and 4th graders, wow. the story said that the parents approved this and the school district passed this. HELP. i was just wondering if there was any truth to this. could you let a fellow st. louis blogger know what is going on.

I recieved this e-mail and thought it very interesting, I also went to Phillip Pullmans web site and yes unfortunalty it is true what they are saying about him. The Golden Compass is a must NOT see movie. Anyone who thinks that God is dead I for one will not support him.

It has been a long time since I have been on the blogs but this story got my attention. I really would like to know why Vick is getting jail time for a dog and Lenord Little got a slap on the wrist for taking a human life, does any one seen something wrong with our justice system or is it just me. This is crazy, dont get me wrong i love animals and am glad that there are people out there to stick up for them but to me a human life is worth a lot more. The pro football teams no longer want Vick but we still have Little playing for the Rams and some still cheer him on. How sad.

Man do i miss blogging with you guys and gals, i am in michigan and it is to cold for me up here, Can't wait to get back to St. Louis and blog, blog and blog. Maybe I'm wrong here but, if poeple would buy more American products would'nt that reduce the number of layoffs and unemployment in our OWN country. My husband goes thru the threat of layoff every year and it is very scary. I heard Chrysler will not layoff in Mexico because they work cheaper DUH, well if we would quit bying the foriegn cars and trucks and support our own we might not be where we are today. Just my my own opinion.
