WHEATLAND, WI--- I've covered a lot of freakish weather in my 20 plus years as a television reporter. I've been in hurricanes, tornadoes and blizzards. But I never imagined I'd cover a January tornado in Wisconsin. Monday the temperature in this southeast Wisconsin town climbed into the 60's. That's when angry clouds moved across the horizon and several funnel clouds developed. Some of them touched down, raking across hilltops here. Dozens of homes were damaged or destroyed. At least two deaths were reported across the border in Illinois. Remarkably, there was no loss of life here. Here is a link to the story I reported last night on TODAY'S TMJ4:
