Stay's together, I think.

Ok Truman finally broke down and bought himself a new computer. Walmart had a great buy yesterday we got there around 10 and they still had 3 left.

The old computer is like 6 year's old and the virtual memory is low ,low, low.

You can't even put a game from a cd on it.

But it has satified him since I got my new one 1 1/2 year's ago.

He only read's the paper's,Bolgs, play spider solitaire,word whomp,and a few local forum's here.

Well the old one take's forever to load and you can click and have to wait cause if you try to click to fast it won't do anything.

So he moved the old one yesterday and put his new one there in that spot' So I said we need to keep this old one for the grandkid's to do their music on,Ryan to play with and the kid's if they want internet they can use the old one till it die's. They don't mind if it is slooooowwwwww. It drive's me crazy waiting and waiting and waiting.

So today we went and bought a corner computer desk, the router cable and surge plug.

Truman decided he wanted the corner as he can see out both window.

Tomorrow I will work on getting the toy rearranged so Ryan will have his space. As this is combination computer / toy room.

So I was sitting here as Truman Lee was on the old one on a date site I think, Truman on his playing prime suspect's. He is getting the hang of it. After all he need's something to do on retirement when he can't get outside,I was on mine playing Veronia River's. Yes! Harp has me hooked on the hidden object game's.

I got up with my camera and here is what we were doing.

Everyone doing their own thing.

It was so quiet in here.

 Yes I would be lost without a computer now ,The other's can take it or leave it. I guess I would get use to it again if I had too.Hope that don't happen tho.

I love family tradition, Some carry on, some don't .

But hey be thankful of the one's that carry on.

Ok ,I have said that every Thanksgiving our oldest grand daughter carry's in our Christmas tree. I said since she was 3 but in looking through the picture she was 5 when she started carrying in the tree.

This is the first year we haven't ate with our daughter and the two granddaughter's at home , We have went to her house for the last 10 year's.Before that it was alway's our house.

It make's my heartache but family's do different thing some time's

So in a few minute's we are going down to see them. She did her dinner for the in law's. Then they went and visited a girlfriend from Illinois who she grew up with and  was in Bonne Terre for Thanksgiving..

I did one down here as I had the stuff and had to cook it.

Ok I feel better as my picture's were uploading on photobucket we walk down to see her. The two girl's weren't home tho.

Our son ate down there for dinner ,Then just came in and ate here for supper. I was just getting ready to put it away.Yeah he even compared the food. Her turkey was more moist  but my dressing was better, But you can bet he ate enough at both place's.

Our oldest granddaughter has done her own for the last 2 year's for her ,Ryan and Tony. That is her starting her family tradition, But she alway's make's it out here to bring in the tree.

Well Santa's helper was here to try to do a photo shoot with Ryan.

It went off a little better this year,  Than the last two, But all he kept saying was I want a present.

your dryer vent??

We check our's when I notice my dryer is not working right.

Yeap and it really should be checked before that.

I clean my lint trap with every load. But few year's back I notice not much lint but dryer was working ok.

Truman went out and checked the vent and it was stopped up with lint. We have a short run on the vent so it wasn't hard to clean out. Checked inside the dryer and the vent hole's in the tub some where clogged. So I cleaned them out.

He checked the vent in the spring it was nice and clear.

Last week I noticed my clothes weren't drying in the normal 30 minute's .I pulled the lint trap out and felt down in as far as my little hand could get and it feel's really nasty in there. Just sticky and linty on the wall of the dryer. No clump's. (I'd say from fabric softener,Maybe?) I ask him next time he was out back check the vent.

Well Friday I was doing laundry and dryer was not drying proper and ask if he checked the vent. He said no I forgot.(We don't get out back much), But, I will go check now.

We have just one flap on our vent not louvered like the one above.

It was full of mud dobber nest. Dryed mud. He said two big one's. The flap was down good to.  

Cleaned them out and the last loaded was Jean's dryed in the normal 35 minute's.

I know people who run their dryer a hour or more to dry clothes. Something is wrong there, I think .  

In all the 42 year's we have been married we have had two set's of washer and dryer. First one was gas and we sold that set when we moved here as we didn't have natural gas here. We bought a new set when we moved here,it was electric.

My nabor and daughter are alway's replacing element's

I am just wondering that if they noticed when it is not drying in the normal time if they check their vent ?

As I am sure if it get's clogged ,it will cause the element's to go out .

I have heard of dryer fire's ,wonder if this could be one of the reason's?

So check you vent's once in awhile ok.

A copy of

"Mouse on the Mayflower" ?

Our granddaughter want's it for Ryan. Yeah she like's it also.

She said she use to watch it every Thanksgiving here on tv.

To be honest,I don't remember ever seeing it (Guess I was busy or something) but she  remeber's it. She has went to ebay and watching the bid's. Some are pretty high.

So if you see it on dvd or vcr would you please post and let me know where please.

 With in a reasonable distance.

The Trash in my house?

Ok it isn't as bad as in the picture.

I have a small trash bin in just about every room.

My kitchen one is really a diaper pail as I like small trash can in kitchen.

That way we  it empty more often.

But I empty the kitchen,Bathroom and one by my chair every two day's' Yeah Walmart bag's but still that is alot of paper trash for 2 people.

Paper towel's , kleenex, Junk mail,snack paper's and small chip bag's, Cigerette pack's etc..

Can's and glass are put in separate container for disposal.

Yeah we can still burn our paper around here.

Garbage is put out for the wildlife.

coffee ground's and eggshell's put in flower pot's and garden.

How much trash do you have?

I am just amazes at what two people throw away in two day's.

But if I didn't throw it away, my house would look like the picture above, in 4 day's.

Took my breath away ,Yes it did.

Pretty good frost we have this morning.

Went out in the cold and got a few picture's.

It is cold but I had to do ,what I had to do.

OK ! I am on yahoo alot talking with Suz,Ron and Harp the most.I usually use the hello and goodbye audible's only when I sign on. Well the other day Suz was using Halloween one's.

I investigated the audible's and I only had Thanksgiving one,no Halloween,

Well I looked down and there was PURPLE. So I checked it out.

Well they have a dog that go "Yahoooo!!!!" I love it. Ron has threatened  me with that one.

There is also the one eyed guy and another guy that say's" Wear purple for me nowwwwww".

Suz had ask me what is it about.

I said I have no clue.

Anyway I went looking for the audible's for a picture. ( If you have yahhoo. Go to audible's and you will know what I am talking about)

Well I guess it has to do with a song by a Gogol Bordello.

There is a video. I listened to the first part and had to turn it off. Gag me with a fork!!!

Anyway I have been using" yahooooo" and  "wear purple for me now " to the point that Ron's want's to ring my neck.

Suz and I went crazy with them the other night.

Well last night everytime I woke up this  "Wear purple for me nowwww" was in my thought's. I wasn't dreaming at all. Just when I would wake this tune was in my head.

So What do you think?

Do I need to step back from the computer or just quit using the audible's?

It is so crazy when stuff like this get's in your head and you can't get it out.

I think I only used the audible once today but it is still in my head. Just one of them tune's ya know?

Now everytime someone say's anything about purple or I see someone or something purple . I am thinking that sentence. Sheesh.

Has anything silly stayed on your mind from being on the computer?

Their word's and lip's aren't moving at the same time Talk about time delayed. Is it my tv or is it a technical difficulty?. Even the recorded part is doing it. Guess I will listen and not look at their mouth at the same time..

I just opened my email and had 68 notification's.
