Idol Girls-Blew Guys Away!!!!!

Oh my God, what a show tonight - very impressive!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stephanie and Sabrina did very well!  Melinda, who does not have enough confidence, blew me away.  She has to stop rounding her shoulders and stand up straight!

And for the finale - LaKisha just belted out the greatest voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did a blog for Gina (from Naperville, IL) and now I have completely changed my mind about her.  Yes, she can sing, but her arrogance just completely annoys me.  She said to Simon - I made that note and watching the reruns at the end - she did not!!!!  She wasn't even high enough.

I just want to know who you thought was good from the guys last night?

I was taken away with Marine Phil Stacey.

Hope I get some comments this time!

None of the guys really stood out last night. I think they should do away with the 12 girls, 12 guys. It seems they cut a lot of girls to try and choose 12 guys that could really sing and still didn't acomplish it. Several of the girls really stood out tonight. Lakisah was the best, she can blow!

Yes, I forgot, you are right.

When they are down to the last 24, they should not worry about 12 female and 12 male. They should pick the last 24 for the best and not worry about female/male. Good catch!

I didn't see the guys sing, but the girls were awesome. I agree with you about Melinda *the shy one*. I don't know, something seemed very awkward about her shyness last night. She sounded absolutely amazing. I sincerely hoping she is not going to milk this "oh my god am I really good? act for tooooo long. It does get kinda old. I say "act" because last night it just seemed put on a little to much.

I actually liked Melinda -- I'm not certain if she is built like that or if it's just poor posture. Do you think the "am I really good" act an act? I think so....and she needs to loose it. I kind of felt that way with Kelli Pickler last year too. (the dumb innocent blond act). Anyway my two favorites are Melinda and the last girl (I think her name was Lakeshia). The girls were so much better than the guys (was it their song choices?)-- perhaps the girls' performances will motivate the guys to improve. Looking forward to the results show tonight.

The women were awesome!!! I was upset with what they said about Haley though because she is the only person that has been able to pull off a Celine Dion song! In the past 5 seasons everyone that tried Celine's music failed miserably!!! I just want to say way to go Haley!! lol

the girls were much better then the guys, i do like the curly hair guy, cant remeber his name,also melanie i think has poor posture,but she is a little too shy,i wonder to is it an act? lakeisha can BLOW,and i cant stand gina,she is to cocky for me,i cant stand her attitude,maybe the guys will step up their singing since the girls did make them look bad.

Sorry it took me so long to bio. I don't usually like talking about myself. I grew up on the northside of Milw. and went to Washington High School. Eventually got married and moved to West Allis. Had two daughters and was married for 17 years and finally got divorced because of an abusive husband. Stayed single for 10 years, raising my two daughters and had the time of my life. In 1997, I met the love of my life and we got married in Punta Cana in Feb., 2000. Because we have no children living in our house we have a dog Heidi, which is an American Eskimo. She is a little lover. We are both still working, but are looking forward to retiring!
