I’m absolutely outraged that it has taken such a heart wrenching tragedy for legislators to understand and get the grasp that guns are deadly weapons and will be used as such until they pass stricter gun laws. I’m sorry to say that it won’t be heard until it hits home. I can’t quite grasp the rationale behind even making a statement as loose “it violates the citizens’ constitutional rights.” It’s a lot of things that the government and people of higher authority do that violates our rights; but preventing the lost of precious life is a violation of everything that is right. Until something else is done to keep people that shouldn’t walk the streets with a sharpened spork from getting their hands on guns than our precious people are going to continue dropping like flies.
