A while back the Lancaster Times did a story on a man named Johnny Berry who arrested as a juvenile on a single witness testimony. Johnny Berry was arrested in August of 1994. Now 14 years later the co-defendant (the man who testified against Johnny Berry) has had a change of heart. He claims that he has been spoken with someone in letter form a couple of years ago and told someone(a judge) he lied, but they(a jugde) suggested he keep his mouth shut if he wanted to get out on parole one day. Now the codefendant is telling the truth. He is suppoe to be up for parole in three years but is willing to do the Life sentence Johnny Berry is doing in order to tell the truth.On June 5th 2008 at 13th and filbert courtroom 602(video room) The codefedant will tell the truth despite what he's being suggested. If he tells the truth Johnny Berry will get exonnerated after 14 years and a sloppy police investigation.
