Why did NBC cut the penguin shot out of this video, and replace it with a shot of a sunset?

Where was this video really shot?

There are no penguins in the Arctic, are there?

Yeah Jimbo, this weekend is promising to be a scorcher. I may have to dig out my swimsuit, hook myself up to a Pina Colada IV and just spend the weekend in the pool. I hate the heat.... I was born in the wrong part of the USA.

I hate the heat too Guns. Anything mid eighties or above, dew points sixty or above, is too much for me.

I think you have an excellent battle plan for combating the heat!

Although I'm sure I'd like the people (and the mindset) down there, I don't think I could handle the summers.

Tee hee Jimbo. I have been told I couldn't handle your winters either. In late July 2003, I lost my father to a horrible accident, I had just returned from the UK. Several of my friends came over to be with me and to attend the funeral. When I picked them up at DFW Airport, they stepped off the airplane saying "Thank God the Sun".... they loved the weather for a couple of days... but the day of the funeral, it was 114F and one of them passed out at the cemetary and had to be taken to the hospital. They won't soon forget Texas :)

Jimbo... between you and me and the fence post... I don't think foxphilly has a full time webmaster. They are sure slow to update their pictures (I submitted a couple a few days ago) and slow to remove old blogs. In Dallas, the webmaster keeps the page perpetually, so if I have a showcased blog, it is up for maybe half day, a full day at the most, because they are constantly updating the page.

You may be right about that Guns. I've had pic's that took days to approve, and others which took only hours. Also, I'm not sure what the criteria is for featured blogs.

That is crazy! The penguins probably made it look like animals were happy. By the way the UN just put out a report saying that global warming, in a nutshell is a hoax. No duh!!

Did she go to the wrong pole?

The girl says she wanted to go to the Arctic to "see the water that wasn't there a few years ago". Well, Anarctica is surrounded by water year round, and, penguins DO live there. Maybe they were surprised at what they saw in the Arctic, and filled in with some stock footage from Anarcitca? I dunno, but, it seems odd to me.
