I have a couple of questions to all the "blame it on Bushers" out there.....

A) How is the gas and oil mess Bush's fault?

B) How is the housing crisis Bush's fault?

C) How did Bush lie about the Iraq situation, back in 03, and now?

Please, show me some PROOF! Not rhetoric by democrats, not half-truths presented by the MSM, how about some actual proof?

Also, who actually makes the laws in our country? The president, or congress? I have always been taught that congress makes the laws, and that the president, basically, works with what they give him. Maybe we should do a comparison with the economy before the democrats gained control, and after they gained control of congress. seem to me that things were not that bad before they took over. Am I wrong?

A couple of Questions about Obama...

How is a person who made $4.2 million last year, took money from sub-prime lenders and wants to tax the middle class even more, in touch with main-stream America? Is he not one of the 'elite few'?

Why did he wait 20 years to disassociate himself from Rev. Wright?

Lastly, why did he not tell us (when he was railing about not voting for the Iraq war) that he was not a member of the senate at the time, and did not even have a vote? Are we to assume that he wouldn't have voted for it, while the majority of his party did?

Can someone finally answer all these questions for me? I am seeking justification for these accusations against President Bush, and, someone to explain to me about Senator Obama.

BTW...the next time you see someone hunting in rural PA with a hand gun, let me know. I'm mot a hunter, but I'd like to see that trick!

Actually, Jim, you can hunt deer in Pa. with a handgun.
There are minimun requirements as to caliber (.357 being the smallest, I think, I forget now).

They make high caliber single shot handguns specifically for this purpose. With scopes.
I met a guy carrying one of these (along with a plastic gun rest - it was a stick type deal with a u-shape at the top to steady your aim) while hunting in Pa. more than a few years back.

Hiya Dewey !

Hi, GunpowderNlegs - Uh- I mean lead !

I have several guns, I cannot imagine anyone hunting with a handgun, the thought, sort of makes me want to laugh. I have seen the deer up there too, they seem to be a little on the anorexic side but hey, second thought, maybe a handgun could kill them :)

Before any of the liberals up there start harping on my guns, I am from a long line of hunters- when my grandfather died, he left my brothers and I all of his guns, my father had quite a collection too and my husband (former military) has lots of guns. I am permitted to carry a concealed weapon and I do. I do not hunt, nor does my husband- we love animals and I could never shoot an animal unless it had my son and then I could probably do it.

Now I WILL shoot a snake, I have no room in my life for a snake and Texas is full of Rattle Snakes. We live in a wooded area and there are is all sorts of wildlife out in the woods. My husband has been feeding a 3 legged raccoon for a couple of years now because he feels sorry for it, it used to climb our fence and come into the backyard to eat dog food until my husband realized it was disabled, now he puts food on the other side of the fence. While the raccoon seems friendly enough, I would never approach it or let my son approach it.

Would I ever shoot a person? I would hate to, but I stand prepared and trained to do so, if my life or anyone else's is in danger.

Don't mess with Texas... doesn't just mean littering :)
We put down more criminals each year than any other State by nicely putting them to sleep, but sometimes, and this is catching on now that

(continuation) most of us DO carry weapons, justice is instant. In my little suburb of Dallas, criminals know... if you come into our area to commit a crime, more than likely you will leave in a body bag.

Sorry about taking up all the blog space Jimbo...Dang those long winded Texans...

Dewey - This is the one I posted in myfoxla.

JT - Maybe this guy liked a challenge? Something tell me he was answering a lot of questions about his firearm.

Guns - Got no problem with long winded Texans, as long as they make sense, or make me laugh!

an unsuccessful bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, he announced his campaign for U.S. Senate in early 2003. The next year, while still an Illinois state legislator, Obama delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in November 2004

The President's job is that much like a manager. When the Operation is doing well and is profitable he gets all the credit and salutations. When the operation is not doing as well the manager receives the blame. The only difference I see is the manager will try to help correct the situations that is making it faulter. If I was a manager and I told my employer, "it'll work itself out; or, I'm not going to intervein" I would be on the unemployment line. Furthermore, if I made a poor management decision based on my own intelligence gathered information, again I would be on the unemployment line. He wanted the job.

I see your point about the credit/blame thing, there is , however, one big difference, When a manager makes a decision, do the employees get to vote on it? No, and they shouldn't. That is why, I believe , you cannot make that comparison in this case.

Do you think it's a coincidence that the economy was in pretty good shape for twelve years, until the democrats took control of congress? Right now, Bush is hamstrung.

You're right, he wanted the job. But, that doesn't mean he deserves ALL the blame, while congress receives little, or none.

As for the intelligence info, both houses saw the very same evidence, and voted accordingly.

Also, from a Washington post report..."Paul R. Pillar, who was the national intelligence officer for the Near East and South Asia from 2000 to 2005, acknowledges the U.S. intelligence agencies' mistakes in concluding that Hussein's government possessed weapons of mass destruction. But he said those misjudgments did not drive the administration's decision to invade."

You'll notice, this gentleman acquired his position under Clinton.

Ibejim, two of the three problems you mentioned, minus Iraq were caused almost entirely by illegal aliens, and illegal aliens ARE COMPLETELY BUSH'S FAULT!

Look, I voted for the clown twice and I'm as conservative as they come, but there comes a time to stop drinking the Koolaid. Bush and McCain are REALLY bad news for America, and neither one is a conservative. Hillary and Obama are equally bad, although it's hard to believe they could be worse.

You have to see things the way they really are. Bush has basically destroyed this country with his dreams of an open borders North American Union and it will NEVER be the same again, not ever.

While I agree that illegal immigration is a huge problem, we must also consider and over-taxed oil industry, human greed and sub-prime lenders.

Gore helped Clinton ramrod NAFTA down our throats and Kerry voted for amnesty for illegals. I believe that the NAU would have been brought forth no matter who had been our president for the last 7+ years. Not trying to absolve Bush of blame, I just think that this NAU thing was conceived a long time ago, and both parties have a hand in it.

Jed Clampett for president!!....
