I have a couple of questions to all the "blame it on Bushers" out there.....

A) How is the gas and oil mess Bush's fault?

B) How is the housing crisis Bush's fault?

C) How did Bush lie about the Iraq situation, back in 03, and now?

Please, show me some PROOF! Not rhetoric by democrats, not half-truths presented by the MSM, how about some actual proof?

Also, who actually makes the laws in our country? The president, or congress? I have always been taught that congress makes the laws, and that the president, basically, works with what they give him. Maybe we should do a comparison with the economy before the democrats gained control, and after they gained control of congress. seem to me that things were not that bad before they took over. Am I wrong?

A couple of Questions about Obama...

How is a person who made $4.2 million last year, took money from sub-prime lenders and wants to tax the middle class even more, in touch with main-stream America? Is he not one of the 'elite few'?

Why did he wait 20 years to disassociate himself from Rev. Wright?

Lastly, why did he not tell us (when he was railing about not voting for the Iraq war) that he was not a member of the senate at the time, and did not even have a vote? Are we to assume that he wouldn't have voted for it, while the majority of his party did?

Can someone finally answer all these questions for me? I am seeking justification for these accusations against President Bush, and, someone to explain to me about Senator Obama.

None of it is Dubya's fault, he inherited a whole lot of unfinished business. He has been ridiculed by the media and made the butt of most jokes, yes he talks funny... but so do I so I understand him, at least he stands for what he believes in and doesn't lie to the American people. He is genuine in his concern and doesn't have to wait for the cameras to point at him to shed a tear for America. I was glad to hear he will be returning back to Dallas once he leaves the White House. They lived here before he became Governor of Texas and we are happy to have them return. They are genuinely nice people who truly love America and in my opinion, have done a good job while in Office, the best they could do, with what was handed to them along with the keys to the White House.

I agree Guns, he sure had a helluva lot more on his 'plate' than any President in recent history. Much of it inherited.

While I will admit that he didn't play well on camera, does that kind of superficial crap really matter?

One things for sure, I would vote for him over that hypocrite he ran against in 2,000 and the flip-flopping elitist he ran against in 04, if we had to so it all over again.

Apparently the "superficial" crap does matter. Look at the way people are falling at the feet of Obama. Let's just hope they wake up before Nov.

He makes me smile. The day he flubbed up with the Queen of England, I laughed myself to sleep.

Guns - Nope, haven't seen those pics yet. I can imagine though. I have seen a video of him fishing, the man knows how to cast.

Misplaced - You're right. And many politicians know how to take advantage of that. Remember Billary crying?

Nope, you're right Colby, why don't you go to moveOn.org, or some similar site where all the intelligent people dwell?

I got your e-mail address Guns, just didn't want to leave it posted in a public forum. You'll probably wonder(when you see my E-mail address) how in the hell did he come up with that!

The Flyer's are our local NHL (National Hockey Leauge) franchise. They won in double over-time last night, and now lead their best of 7 playoff series with Washington 3 games to 1.!!

jim --u continue to make a lot of sense--the far left loons have become a nuisance since they opened up the asylums.

Let me also state this to the loons who post comments--defending someone who is republican doesn't make you a republican or a conservative. jim is simply a guy who calls a spade a spade.

Oh... Hockey! I am not much of a sports person which drives my husband crazy. He is a football fanatic and we have been to a couple of Dallas Star Hockey games, which I don't understand at all but I enjoy the fights and watching some of the fans act up.

Thanks Brain. I belong to neither party (used to be a democrat way back when). Funny how people who don't even know you, attempt to label you because your opinion differs from theirs. Seems like there's always one or two lefty's who have to post and insult, kinda lacks substance when you don't even know the person you're insulting.

Guns - There are a lot of female hockey fans. I honestly don't know why , but many seem to take to NHL hockey. I'm not complaining!

Jimbo we must be twins separated at birth... I don't belong to either party either. I am really not sure who I will vote for this year, I don't like any of them. I think I will just write "Jimbo from Deleware" on my ballot and call it a day.

I think the violence of the sport attracts some ladies, sorta like boxing.

Bush's only real fault in my opinion is he is not very bright.

Thats not a crime there have been many not so bright presidents in our history.

Most presidents surround themselves with capable intelligent people. Bush had chenney and rumsfield. Powell got the hell out when he saw the writing on the wall.

The biggest mistake of bush's 8 years.

2 words.

Paul Bremmer.

Dewey - Good to hear from you too. But, how do we know he's not bright? From the main stream media? The people he surrounds himself with are no worse than Gore the hypocrite, or Sandy the torch, or Madeline the two face, are they?( not to mention Billary the liar). If they had done a good job of protecting our nation from terrorist, would we be in the same situation we are in now? Remember how Afghanistan fell in the mid-90's?

Make all the candidates spend a week in Dewey beach, then, lets go from there. :)

Brain- I think they like the roughness of the sport, and what it does to the players faces. remember how Rod Brind'Amour's face used to look like a road map at the end of the season. They loved him!

Guns - I'm gonna vote for some long legs in stirrups, even if they have spurs.:)

BTW... Brain and Dewey. What do you think of Jimmy Carters terrorist appeasement tour? Maybe he needs Billy to pee on something to make his noble point?

Carter's faith guides him and his mind and intellect have been in a freezer since 1983 I believe.

As far as Clinton surrounding himself with smart people, actually I think Clinton was a pretty bright guy. He knew his smile and "I feel your pain" was opium for the masses.

Bush being not so bright?
He sunk the oil company pappy hooked him up with. He barely made it out of college.
Texas Rangers I believe actually lost money when he was in charge.

So busines-swise and booksmarts he seems to be lacking. Thank god for connie giving him a daily report on the world and she starts out by telling him what day of the week it is otherwise he would be completely lost.

Again I dont think he is a mean or evil guy with alterior motives. I think some of those under him however are.

Even Karl Rove while every democrat out there wants to lynch him, you cant deny he knew numbers. And that is all that matters in elections. So I can honestly say that was the smartest move bush made by bringing him into the game.
