The following picture is  being used  by Absolut vodka in an advertising campaign in Mexico...

Absolut

Check out this clowns quote......

The campaign taps into the national pride of Mexicans, according to Favio Ucedo, creative director of leading Latino advertising agency Grupo Gallegos in the U.S.

Ucedo, who is from Argentina, said: “Mexicans talk about how the Americans stole their land, so this is their way of reclaiming it. It’s very relevant and the Mexicans will love the idea.”

But he said that were the campaign to run in the United States, it might fall flat.

“Many people aren’t going to understand it here. Americans in the East and the North or in the center of the county -- I don’t know if they know much about the history.

“Probably Americans in Texas and California understand perfectly and I don’t know how they’d take it.”

                                    -------------------------------------------------------
-

Obviously, there is a lot this guy doesn't know!

Might fall flat in the United States? Duh!

“Probably Americans in Texas and California understand perfectly and I don’t know how they’d take it.”........What!  Tell you what pal, make a sign out of this picture, and walk down a street in Texas or California!  I think they'd be perfectly willing to tell you what they think!  Oh, and good luck getting out in one piece.

Grey goose, here I come!

Thanks for posting this Jim. The ad is sickening.
I don't think it would be a good idea for anyone to walk down the streets in Texas with this ad, ya'll know we have guns and a army of East Texas rednecks who aren't afraid to use them.

Oh and on another note Jim, since they feel entitled to "their" land, I am 1/4 Cherokee Indian, if anyone is entitled to the land, it's me :) (get in line, right?)

"Their land", lol. Actually Guns, If I remember my history correctly, It was the Spanish that ruled those lands, not the Mexicans.

What really irks me is that they would use something like that in an advertising campaign, with tensions the way they are now. They could have done something like..."your water sucks! Drink Absolut!"

Anyway, 'Ta-kill-ya' will always be the drink of choice down there.

I saw that earlier...Yes, it makes one want to puke. The mere (not-so) subliminal message that the American west belongs to Mexico. I say Absolutely not. Pun intended. Call itone of the losses of war. If they want it back, let them try to take it!!!! Hoever, the way our liberal government is running, I'm sure we'll just enact laws that whill hand over the west to Mexico. Hola

They will take it back over my dead body Move :)
I had relatives who died in the Alamo, I am sure they are spinning in their graves at this moment. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind anyone being here as long as they are legal and pay taxes like you and I. Contribute to society vs. drain the social services. I have some very good mexican friends who are second and third generation American's they feel the same way we do about illegals.

The illegals aren't hard to spot. They have 50 or 60 people in one small 1,200 sq. ft. home, hang their wet laundry on the chain length fence to dry, have loud parties with lots of beer and Tejanao music, mexican men love white women so they are always chasing us around, they have 4 or 5 children under the age of 10 and their wife is pregnant with another one, they usually roof houses or work in landscaping and they never and I mean NEVER have a bank account, they deal with cash only which makes them a target for criminals. Since 50 or 60 of them live in a house they don't have to pay much rent and whoever is the "boss" of the house, makes each person give them $25 a week to "save" and on the last day of the month, they have a drawing and someone in the house wins the savings kitty... thats when you see them standing at the Walmart with 3 or 4 shopping carts full of all sorts of stuff.

Last year, a large Dallas Apartment Complex burned down, many of the residents jumped out of windows and ran, never to return because they were illegal. The few that were trapped and rescued by the Fire Department refused to give their n

names. Dallas is a sanctuary city which means they can just move in and live among us without worry of being deported. The first thing the Government needs to do is get rid of sanctuary cities, if an illegal is found speeding... they need to be deported. If they commit a crime, they need to be deported. If a landlord is found to be renting to illegals, they need to be heavily fined and the illegals need to be deported. Deportation is the only answer and land mines across the southern border. The fence isn't going to work. It would cost alot less to deport these people back to Mexico than hold them in jail.

Dang... sorry for being long winded I had to put it in two sections! My dad always said, I could talk the horns off a bull.

Sanctuary city????? We're a Santuary Country. There going to put a 300 mile fence on a 2,000 mile border. I hope that sucker stretches real far: ). If we want border security, we need to be in contact with North Korea, they seem to have that technolgy down pretty good. Besides, if we put up a fence, we'll be locking in 20 million on our side of the border. This is a massive problem and our government refuses to touch this hot potato. Just drives me nuts. Nothing against Mexicans, I just want it to be legal.

I happen to be from Colorado. Some of you may remember Dick Lamm (D). He gave an incredible speech called "How to Destroy a Nation". It's a 5 minute read. Attached is a link. Just copy and paste.
