PER ROB G: The period I am talking about is next week (Week of March 11) and the models do a good job at picking up cold vs. warm patterns vs. storms and tracks. The GFS is showing temps in the 10-15 range and the clipper mid week is down right cold with Alaskan snow not the east coast stuff. This means the snow ratio is high if this pans out. Is this really possible?? Do I need to prepare my pj's to wear inside out and on backwards once again? Hmmmm, guess anything is worth a try if we want at least that one more snow event.

Is Spring really this close? Between yesterday and today it sure feels it here - which can only be a sign. Ok, my outside thermometer is telling me it is 65.7 degrees - but we wont tell anyone that the sun is shining on it. Before we know it the weather will be this gorgeous all the time. Still waiting patiently for at least one more good snow event though I aint holding my breath for it. Looking forward to seeing the eclispe tonight with the boys. We will try to take a pic and share if it comes out. Enjoy this weekend cause I know it won't last long!

We got to start the snow dance NOW. Stand up and start to wiggle. Use to tell the boys to wiggle out their angry feelings. Now I am saying wiggle the snow out of the sky:
Place a white crayon in the freezer and then before going to bed, throw it under your pillow.
Snow Dance:
DO THIS AT NIGHT TIME!!!
(DO IT IN ORDER!!!)
1. wear pjs inside out
2. get 9 ice cubes
3. throw 3 of of the 9 ice cubes in your back yard
4. throw 3 of them in your front yard.
5. throw the last three in the highest toilet and flush it
6. now do a crazy dance
7. put atleast 2 silver things under your pillow
8. TA DA!!!!
Put a few ice cubes in a cup by your window and you are sure to have some snow!

What if wearing your pajamas inside out or sleeping with a spoon under your pillow could make a nice snow storm come? It might sound crazy but in our household we have been doing this for years (my oldest is 20, youngest - twins will be 9 on 2/16).
Some other snow traditions -
Place a white crayon in the freezer and then before going to bed, throw it under your pillow.

Although these activities are fun and practiced by many the skepticism still remains. Do any of these rituals actually have an effect on how much snow we will get? Or is the weather something we have no control over? However it seems safe to say that it just depends on who you ask. Try it and see what happens!
