Well I finaly got a buck to breed my alpine Bella to.  This boy is an alpine/nubian mix.

Isn't he adorable??  Now I just have to sit back and wait for the magic to happen. LOL

I can't wait to have our first baby goats born here.

Have you tried romantic music and some wine?!
It may not help the goats get romantic, but you and Super can have a good time!

That name was taken. 2 yrs ago I bought a pygmy buckling. I named him Romeo. Sadly he died when he was only 7 months old.

I heard it's stringy and a little gamey.
My goats are pets, so to me, it would be like eating a dog,
My neighbors across the road are going to start breeding boer goats (meat goats). I won't be going to thier house for dinner. LOL

oh gyro- he is adorable. how about " Studley", or " Lovergo", or " Mr.Cheese" or " BabyMaker"...LOL- anyway keep us informed- and exactly how long does a goat carry her youngling?
sheep, goat and deer are very simular in taste.

I am a homemaker. I hope to start breeding goats in the spring. I have 2 alpines, 1 nigerian dwarf, 1 pygmy, and on mix goat. My children are grown, so now my goats are my "kids".
