In Texas, Football is King and considered a birthright.   Check out these people who have camped out over night to get season tickets to a HIGH SCHOOL football game for next year- What the article doesn't mention..... we had some massive storms last night so these folks were water logged to boot-

I knew that football was king down there, and, high school football is huge in Texas, but, camping over night for high school football tickets? Didn't know it was THAT big.

The only time people around here camp out for tickets is for pro-sport playoff games and big name concerts.

Oh, one more thing Guns, they usually tote something other that soda in their coolers.:)

You would have lost me at "camp out", I am not a camping out type of girl. My idea of camping out is a hotel room and "roughing it" a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn. :)

Do they really leave the light on for you?

The leave the light on for you and provide a padlock for the door. Don't ever take a girl like me to a cheap motel, they don't have enough juice in their breaker box to take the hair dryer, electric curlers & have the A/C on. Don't ask me how I know....but you can ask a few people who spent a miserable night in Houston motel because the electricity went off in the middle of the night on a hellish like Houston night.

Sorry Guns! I should have phrased that more like - " I wonder if they really leave the light on for you". I honestly didn't mean to imply anything!

I can imagine those hellish Houston nights, when the low temp for the day is in the 80's!

Houston is the armpit of Texas, it is absolutely miserable there with humidity. The humidity plays havoc with my wild hair, there is no such thing as a good hair day in Houston.
