Nevermind. I should have realized something. You only want to "help" the people in Iraq. You only want to "help" the people who want to kill us. Send them more money and bring them the "freedom" to "democratically elect" religious fanatic leaders to continue the theocracy they love living under so much. Continue making fatcat capitalists like Halliburton and Cheney rich at the expense of American military lives. All under the farce that we are "speading freedom and democracy". And at the same time keeping conflict in the Middle East-a great excuse to make gas prices obscenely high.

Open your eyes and see what is going on. Bush is a master of spreading it. Not freedom and democracy. But s h i t. Bush has s[read the s h i t so thick that we cannot even see the truth anymore.

uh, PB........I'm still researching this one. This is something new for me & I (unlike you & gorbash) like to learn the TRUTH about things before I form an opinion.

As far as I can tell, we are not REFUSING the huge numbers that Gorbash has posted. But, I'm not done researching it yet. There is a reason that so many of them are still in that geographical area (syria, lebanon, egypt, etc) and I am still finding out why. The REAL story, not the stupid that Gorbash is telling.

I WILL be back when I have some actual FACTS and NUMBERS to share.

okay PB, I've read enough about this to feel like I can offer an informed opinion. Are you ready for this? You won't believe it!

I don't agree with the way this has been handled. In a business sense & logistical sense, I can understand what they are doing. They want people to go home to help build the New Iraq.

But, the humanity aspect is horrible! And, frankly, I feel that the humanity aspect SHOULD come first..........

So, there ya go! You have FINALLY found something that you and i probably see eye to eye on.............for once (with the exception of snikers, etc.)
