I have a question because I have not lived here in a long time. My husband was out Grilling the last couple of nights.
Last night we had a roast on the grill & the night before we had Ribs. Our neighbors kept staring out there windows. I have also noticed everyones Grills are put away DOES ANYONE GRILL DURING THE WINTER HERE? Or are we CRAZY! I love grilled food, why give it up in the winter?

Most people put their grills away in mid-late fall. Usually after the first frost or when the weather calls for no more weather above 50 degree's.

Usually when we grill around here, we also eat outside. What's the point of grilling if you can't eat outside and enjoy nature? That's my perspective anyway.

and watching the snow flakes evaporate off the top of my smoking grill while dinners cooking.

Nothing better than a Porterhouse on the grill. We have ours in the garage in the winter but use it quite a bit thru the winter. Anytime is a good time for grilling!

Heck - we grill all year long! We don't allow the weather to stop the wonderful taste and benefits of grilled food - YUMMY! You're not strange, it's just that your neighbors admire you for being so brave, while they are too chicken to grill in the winter.

My husband will only drink a beer if he is grilling!

I love to cook, and grilling is just one more tool in my arsenal. There is nothing better than grilled chicken or steak in the middle of a nasty snowstorm. Makes ya all warm and toasty inside.

We grill out all winter and all summer long. As long as it's not windy we grill. Who needs summer to have a great steak or any other grilled yummy. We have done this for 35 years and don't intend to stop. Who wants a steak thrown on a griddle or in a skillet, yuck. We have a Foreman grill and that is great but nothing beats the outside grill. Grill on man.

Okay, you city folk are weird. :P...grilling in the middle of winter - crazy

I like to cook as well, though I'm more into experimentation and enjoyment than anything. Hated it when I was growing up and when I finally moved out, THEN I discovered that I enjoyed it. I just HATE handling raw meat. Gloves, gotta love em.
