Ventura County Tax Payers get thrown for a loop

What do we pay taxes for? Well not only to keep up the city freeways and our home and laws but also for national holidays like the 4th of July we pay for them to buy fireworks and put on a display! Well we didnt exactly get the fireworks we got last year they were worse than the ones we the tax payers could buy at Ralphs or Vons! If you live in the Ventura County area please tell me what you thought!
