What a difference a year makes for the Flyers!

Wow, I can not believe no one else has a blog about the Flyers! They look great. Biron is my new hero!! What a goalie. Come on get excited, I know hockey is a long season, but jump on the Flyers bus for what is going to be one awesome year!

I also want to to know why they do not get more time on the news.....they are just a side note to the Eagles and Phillies. Look at the amazing turn around from last year. Give them some credit. Start wearing the Orange and black, beause the Flyers my friends are definately BACK!!!

Amen Pac I'm witcha!....What other Philly team has a chance almost every year.

Remember the poll taken last year? The one asking NHL player's about which organization they'd most like to play for? The majority responded Philadelphia Flyers.....Not Montreal, Boston or New York!!!!

They have scoring depth, solid defense and great goaltending.

Been a Flyers fan since I was born... had no choice... Dad had a 'Lets Go Flyers' sign in our front yard (in Chadds Ford, no less! LOL) during the Flyers Cup years... ha ha ha... the kids on the school bus loved that! Then I went to western PA for college during the Pens Cup years, and took alot of abuse for being a Flyers fan (man they stunk then!), but my blood is black and orange! Being a parent who works full time out of the house I find my evenings to be a bit to busy to watch the games as often as I would like, but I sure try! It is a treat when I am able to watch an entire game...

Yes.. they look great this year! Might need to create my own 'Lets Go Flyers' sign for my front yard... let the tradition continue.

i been followinf flyers since their first year in league

remember gump worsley,who did not wear hockey mask shut out the flyers in final season game to ruin their chances to be in playoffs that year, i was at the game

the flyers a few years after that had goalie,bruce gamble, who played with out a hockey mask

back im early 70's at rugers-camden we had a hockey club, got to go out to hockey rink did some hockey drills and some scrimages,could not skate well,but the few weeks were certainly a high light in my life

Funny thing is, in the first period of both those shutouts, the Flyers were a bit lethargic in the first period....And Brion still shut the door!

Another thing I love about Ice Hockey...there are so many female fans. Wonder why that is?

My nephews wife is a huge caps fan, can you say "horrible horn"?

Is there a term for "your nephews wife"?

Go Islanders, I thought the Flyers best years
were with Clarke,, Parent Schultz, and company.
But, nobody can beat the Islanders back to back to back to back cups.

I'm still on the bandwagon....This team has added a lot of new players in the off-season. Things will take time to jell, then they'll start to play 60 minutes of hockey. The talent is there!

Rangers snapped a 4 game losing streak (lol) last night:(

Just a bump in the road! Hockey can be that way, very streaky.....we will rebound and I still see us playing for the Cup this year!!

I am so mad!! I did not get to see the game, I don't have comcast as my cable carrier so I do not get CN8!!!! I pay extra for stupid VS, when I moved here fought for years to get CSN now they do this to me!!!! I even pay for XM radio so I can listen in the mountains!!
