I love the fall! I come alive in the fall, the start of football and hockey. The crispness in the air. This is my time of year. Most of all I love the leaves! I travel all over to see them. I go to central PA and this year I am going to North Central PA as well. I of course love the leaves right here in our area.

So I created this blog so that others could share with me the best places to see the leaves! I also would love to hear from you when they are at their peak. I am hoping to get some good pics this year to add to my blog to share with all of you as well.

Happy Fall Ya'll!!!

You may find this odd, but I like the way they smell after they have fallen, during or after a rain shower. Fall is also my favorite time of year.

No I agree, we were just talking about that last weekend. We said it reminds us of the woods! I thought we were the only ones. lol

I like to look at the leaves, but I don't like to rake them. LOL. I don't travel anywhere to just look at leaves though. My favorite season is Spring, but I love the early Fall air, because it's not too cold or too hot. It's just perfect.

I love the smell of leaves too. Mmmmm... I can sniff leaves all day. One time I ate dinner in a pile of leaves.

Hey Pam. Fall definately rules. The end of another brutal hot summer, even though it hasn't been all that hot but with no a/c well...... Anyhow, the leaves over here have already started to change around the house! I'm getting my camcorder tonight and will start video taping some of this area.

In the past though the best views I ever got to witness was down on Alabama and Tennessee. All the hills, the changing colors. Just awesome!

Hey Pam, Smoky Mountains is my favorite spot in the fall! If you only have 1 night drive 5 hours to Shenandoah National Park (Skyline Drive) 100 miles of beauty!
Skyline drive takes you to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is over 450 miles long, down to Cherokee NC (Smoky Mtns)

Pac, I was up in North Jersey today and the leaves haven't really turned yet. Some yellow but it isn't there yet.

The Adirondacks are beautiful (well, always) but especially in the fall. They might be turned now. People actually go there to see the leaves. My buddy calls them "leaf gommers".

Pac - I fished Round Valley Resevoir yesterday in Jersey.
My buddy took me there to see the lake. The fog didn't lift before 11 AM. Up until then, I didn't see much of anything.
There's some red and yellow but most of the leaves are green.
I'll keep ya posted.

Yes, it is a beautiful lake. And you can camp there. You need a boat to get to the campsites
(nothing bigger than 9.9 hp motors).
I think I'm gonna buy a boat.

I caught a smallmouth bass and a lake trout.

The lake trout had fishing line wrapped around his right fin; it had been there awhile.
It had affected the growth of his fin. We got it off him and sent him on his way.

My buddy got a lake trout also. We each lost 2. We were fishing with minnows.

It was nice there. It was peaceful, ya know ?.

See Ya.

I agree! Fall is a pretty time of year, and I also agree with B_Don, I HATE raking them......
I live in a neighborhood with lots of GIANT oak trees, so, raking is a must..:(
I also agree with everyone about the fall air...reminds me of my youth.....lived by woods and spent LOTS of time in them!!
