I love these things I was just wondering if anyone out there would want to chat about them? I camp every weekend weather permitting, I fishing with my hubby and kids almost as much, I love to boat, I love to be outside and I am crazy about black bears! Anyone want to chat?

Hi, sister Fishing Goddess! Do you like deep sea, salt-water bay or fresh water? And why are men always amazed when they see a woman who baits her own hook?
I used to do the camping thing "back in the day" but now the arthritis in my spine and knees keeps me from sleeping on the ground. Gave the tent away.

Hey, Jaykitty,

I did not think anyone would answer! lol I prefer fresh water, but only because we head to the lake on the weekends. I used to go out a couple of times a year on a headboat...loved it!

I know it is funny about the hook, my kids all girls fish with us now and have no probs touch the bait or fish!

Where do you fish?

We dont' tent anymore once the kids came we graduated to a trailer. lol

I love salt water fishing, doesn't matter to me if it's deep sea or just a little outboard in the bay. I spent all my summers as a kid at the Jersey shore, my mom and my great aunt fished, so they were my role models. My daughter continues the tradition!

My husband likes fresh water fishing too, but I'm not as thrilled. When he takes our 12 year old nephew fishing, if I go along I usually just watch and enjoy the kid's enthusiasm.

We took "the kiddo" out on a party boat this week, Captain Robbins out of Sea Isle City.
We all did pretty good with sea bass, although since they now have to be 12 inches there were a lot of throwbacks. But what fun to catch!

Hi,

Is there a place to camp in Pa with a stream nearby ? The closer to here, the better.

In the fall, I camp @ Stephens State Park in Hackettstown, N.J.

Sleep in a tent, cook over a fire. I love it.

I went out on a head boat last Nov. ( clod and windy, but ok if ya stood in the sun for sea bass. First time for sea bass for me, we did ok, but threw most of 'em back.

Have a good day, Ladies. Keep cool.

Hey JT where did you fish yesterday? I did not go out this weekend stayed at the campground, I stay away from the lake on Holiday weekends, too crowded for me. Last year was just plain crazy, saw someone drive their new truck with the boat still attached down the boatramp and under the water!
