Where is the snow???

It is a little disappointing to say the least that we are not having a white X-mas ( although giving the history around here we usually don't get one anyway)....I have a feeling this winter is going to be one with little or no snow because of the El Nino that is in place....I hope I am wrong because I am getting a little tired of Dec temps being in the upper 50's all the time....Bring on a snowstorm and soon....

Recently moved here from Miami. I love this area ( was born in Wilmington, DE)...I don't understand why so many people who live here hate the cold weather ( if they dislike it so much, they should move to Miami)...I would assume weather people would enjoy this area of the country much better than a region which would have the same temps all year around and the same type of precip ( rain) whereas here we could have rain, ice, snow...
