Eagles will be missed in Playoffs!

As a true Eagles fan,it will be hard for me to follow the playoffs with the same intensity with the Eagles being eliminated.This will be only the third time this has occured in the Reid era.I think if the Eagles can give McNabb a better arsenal of weapons, the Eagles can attain playoff status again in 2008.I thought this would definitely be the end of the McNabb era after this year.Depending on who you want to believe it'll be a rebuilding process witrh Kolb or if Joe Banner wasn't lying to the fans on WIP, a 100% McNabb will be back in 2008.I hope the Eagles will make the obvious upgrades if they do bring McNabb back,if not,maybe they should rebuild and let McNabb start all over in another city.

Not a chance McNabb will be back, he is due a huge bonus next season, and the Eagles won't want to pay that nut. Also, they want to be able to trade him before he is to old and loses value to any other interested team. Let's face facts, he has good trade value, and less than a significant chance of producing a Superbowl (which is why we selected him). It's time to build to the future. I would not be suprised to see Kolb in the starter spot for the rest of the season. Short of that, Kolb will see significant play time throughout the rest of this lost season.

I am also a true Eagles fan. Speaking ones mind, even if it is contrary to popular opinion doen not make one less of a fan. I would argue that it brings a certian clarity and perspective to a teams ability. I'm not going to tow that P/C line if it means being a sheep and not calling a spade a spade. The Eagles are a bad team right now, we need to replace some key positions, namely the Q.B and the coach. We need to build toward a better future with a different perspective. We need change. Speaking our mind does not preclude us from being true Eagles fans!
