I think the police should be able to beat the crap out of any criminal that they catch. Our legal system is a joke and criminals walk free everyday. Just look at the murderer that killed the police officer on Saturday. He has a criminal record longer than the yellow brick road, but he was not in jail and on the loose. Gee, suprise, suprise-He killed someone. "No, I am shocked" says out lovely court system.

Maybe if police officers beat the sh#t out of more criminals they catch, our growing crime problem would go down. I think they should bring back public hanging and severe punishment for these criminals!

Some police officers already think they are above the law. It is your opinion to say police should beat criminals that commit murder. Hell, I say if they are caught like the three men that killed Sgt. Liczbinski, then they should be put ot rest also. This is why I believe in capitol punishment. I think our justice system is a joke also. However, it is one thing to kick the ass of a criminal, but not every person that is stop by police has commited a crime. The police already knew who the three men involved were. Why beat on innocent people? I beat if a close relative of TAZ2008 was beaten by police, he/she will be the first person at a lawyer's door.

I want to thank fox 29 for letting the rest of the world see what police officers really do weather or not a cop is killed and then try to blame it on the so called criminals. First of all why would you just walk up to car if the people in are armed and dangerous. I don't know why people are getting mad at fox 29 they were only doing there job they didn't make the cops look bad the cops made their own self's look bad just like they always do and i bet nothing is going to happen to them at all. I hope they get sued like crazy! ans they should be locked up b/c they are criminals themselves.

I am disgusted with the people in this city with there heads in the sand. The animals are running this city. The police are up against a criminal element that would shoot there own if it would benefit them. The criminals had just shot three people. They were resisting getting out of the car. Should the police ask nicely for them to get out of the car? Or better yet let them go and then you'll be crying that they shot one of your own. Maybe if people would take responsibility for themselves this city would be a better place. I am sick of the media already labeling this as another "police beating". How dare you! You never show the incident prior to the alleged "beating". You are all about sensationalism not the news. You are worse than the dirt mags. I'm sick of it and the majority of people are sick of it. SHAME ON YOU FOX 29! God Bless all of the hard working men and women of the Philadelphia Police Department. I commend you on your dedication and service. Thank you for all you do. And don't listen to all the uneducated idiots in this city. Most law abiding citizens are 100% behind you.

I believe the mothers of this great city need to listen to BILL COSBY, go teach your children to be respectful. I own a buiness and I see how these THUGGISH hoodlums are. The Police Dept. has a tough job, and I believe they should be able to use whatever force to protect themselves if someone is not listening to them. They are the law, they are not above it, but they are the law. When I was growing up we respected the law, these young thugs have no respect, because they have no parents and no guidance, but that is not hte Police dept. problem, these parents, (Mom and DAD) need to step up and be parents, maybe if the parents had beat the sh__ out of these THUGS then the police would not have to. I am outrage at the black community to think that the police should just sit back and let these HOODLUMS pull weapons on them. NO, the Police should protect themselves at all cost, because these HOODLUMS will fire at them, we see what happen on Saturday. KUDOS TO THE OFFICERS FOR BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF THOSE HOODLUMS. FOX 29 should be ashamed of itself for "exposing" this supposed story. It's a good thing I'm not a cop because those three guys in that video would be dead.

I've seen the story on Fox three times now, and each time there was no mention of where it took place or why the cops had stopped them in the first place. So, FYI Fox, it happened in Hunting Park, one of the worst areas of the city, and they stopped them because those thugs just shot three people. Hope you people at Fox can sleep easy at night knowing what Sgt Liczbinkski's family is going through and for the irresponsible story you've portrayed.

As for the Black community, I don't know what the major malfunction is. But obviously something is seriously wrong. The majority of violent crimes in Philly happens in the Black communities, and is committed by Black citizens/thugs. I work in North Philly, and I see it every day. Nutter? It's been 5 months now, got any solutions yet?

I'm so tired of the general populous feeling sorry for criminals. People appear to have more sympothy for criminals [who don't care about you], rather then allowing police officers do their jobs. Fox 29, should not of put that on the air, but out of greed ... they did. So shame on them!! For those who feel sorry for the criminals ... remember this! They don't care about you. They'll rob, beat, rape, sell your child drugs .. do whatever it takes to survive! So don't pity them! Those that do .. you make me sick! We don't even put those sick bastards on death row, because it's not humane ... but "we" as society forget what sick animals they really are! Let the cops do their job!! If they were'nt doing anything wrong in the first place ... this would not of happened!

The police officers involved need to protect themselves as well as the citizens of Phila. Seeing one video clip does not give all the facts leading up to this event and you don't know what was verbally going on at the time.

Should these officers be taken off the street? Absolutely not! Maybe force was used, but the lawless thugs they were chasing would have used any force they needed if they could have eluded capture. Wake up people, it's time to repect the law instead of the people breaking it.
