Time to arm the border

The Mexican cartels have given permission for their hit teams to come into the US to take out targets.

What more motivation do our elected "leaders" need to secure our borders? How many innocent Americans need to get killed in the crossfire of these anal orifices does it take to get the attention of our "elected "leaders" (term used loosely)?

Absouletly, arm the border. towers along the fence about every 300yds. Orders to shoot to kill any armed invaders, deterrent only for non armed non violent intruders, make sure they know this will no longer be tolerated. Similar orders for border patrol agents on the ground, with the exception that any agressive action, rock throwing..etc can and will be met with deadly force, I believe the invaders will get the message pretty quick.

Here's what I don't understand. All year, border patrol has reported Mexican military crossing the border for one reason or another. More recently, I remember was a situation where Mexican military held several border patrol agents at gun point on our side of the border. Doesn't that mean that Mexico has militarized their border?

The U.S. has sent billions to Mexico militarily, since then, we've had more reports of incursions by Mexican military acting hostily toward our border patrol. I agree we need our military on the border and a president with more bite than bark.

Declare war on Mexico. After all, we ARE being invaded.
Everyone that enters the U.S. ILLEGALY, and those already here ILLEGALY, are then classified as "enemy combatants" and could then be dealt with appropriately. As LEGAL U.S. citizens we have the right, AND the obligation, to protect our country against invasion by outside forces.
