I was at my computer reading and replying to email... it felt like it was long and rolling not a sharp jolt. Thanks for posting this right away... I was wondering where it was centered at. I appreciate that you are on top of the info so quickly!

"It felt like a jolt at first, but then it started rolling. And it kept going and going. I felt like things were still swaying after five minutes!"

Awww....this was just a puppy quake in comparison to the '71 or '94 quake. Hopefully, this shaker will make the newer L.A. transplants go back to where they came from :) :)

I live in Corona which is just on the other side of the 91 freeway from China Hills....... My house shook hard and long. I actually stopped my TV from falling off my dresser in the bedroom......... So far though I have felt no tremors....

I live on the first floor of a high rise on the beach I felt a strong rolling and when i thought it was over it came again with a hard jolt. A few glasses feel out of the cabinet and the wall clock feel down. I heard things falling in the appartments above me. There were a few families swimming on the beach they did not feel a thing, I had to tell them what just happened.

I felt the earthquake from Lake Forest. It felt like someone picked up my apartment and shook it slightly. It also felt like it rolled after the jolt and paused and rolled again. My clock on my wall did fall but that was it

I felt the earthquake for about 10 seconds and the whole house was shaking. No cabinets were opened. And some things fell off my shelf. It was pretty scarry.

I've never felt the effects of an earthquake. When the ground started shaking my first though was my upstairs neighbors are moving and they dropped a large piece of furniture. But when the shaking progressed and things that should be structurally sound appeared to be liquid or fluid I knew it had to be an earthquake.

My first thought was the location of my 14 month old baby. I ran through the house to find her. We knelt on the floor in the hallway until the shaking stopped. Motion sickness settled soon after. The baby lost her lunch on the floor and I was shaken up real good.
