Do you believe that God knows all and hears all?  Do you believe the concept if you think on it, its just as well as acting on it when it comes to sin?  Do you feel sorry for people when you see them walking and talking to themselves or looking beyond what you consider, being in good health or wealth? How does the things you see on a daily basis tug at your heart as a christian (believer)?

I do believe that God knows all and hears all as well as if you think a thought and contemplate on it long enough you might as well have committed the sin. When I see someone walking and talking to themselves looking dis-shelved, I dont immediatly feel that person is crazy, but I think maybe he or she is walking and talking with Jesus.  I use to have to catch 9 buses a day from Soulard to North County and then to South County just to get my babies to a sitter and to work when i was without a car.  Along this journey, i realized, things are always what they seem to be. I used to feel sorry for people catching the bus but, i later realized that it wasnt a bad thing but, more so a choice or necessary thing.  During this faith building journey, i didnt encounter any problems or danger along the way, my kids were 5mos and 4yrs old.  We rose in the dark and came home in the dark. Most people think, "North St. Louis," and chills run up their spine, but when you are walking the right person (Jesus) by your side, no hurt, harm or danger can touch you.  So now, when i see someone that i feel can use a prayer, i pray right then and there because we really dont know what phase of life they are in  or what journey they are on because, things arent alwayswhat they appears to be........

Be Blessed.......

I'm right with ya carmellion. Another view... When people would really get under my skin, I used to get so mad at them and I allowed them to drag me down right with them, but I tried praying for them instead, because they obviously have something not going right in their life and need help. I had to get past taking their actions personal. Doing this, in return, has helped me as well.

old_as_the_superbowl - you are absolutley right, God says we have to pray for our enemies, not that all people who get under your skin is in that category but you get the message. i have to catch myself and check myself at all times. If we are clear that God knows our heart and our thoughts, there would be more unity amonngst christians (believers) because we are some of the most divided people due to technicalities......

marley - we need more positive thought invoking blogs instead of gossip and bitterness especially when you have the freedom to spread love, strength and unity...

BillBored - whoever said what nationality Jesus was? If you want to get technical, he came out of Africa? We have to learn to not judge a book by its cover, maybe the spanards picked up that named and pronuounced it differently to not mock Jesus =-) Things that make you go HUMMMMM!!

This is so true, yet insiring. I remember the pre-car days and catching buses. But, in my case, walking down Lucas Hunt to the then Schnucks market in North Oaks Plaza. Daily if not weekly, for groceries and other essentials. For me, it wasn't a matter of choice, if I wanted to eat, I had to walk. And in some cases, with my babies who were then 4 and 1.

BillBoard--Jesus is of Greek origin, Yeshua/Yahshua (Yay-shoo-ah or Yah-shoo-ah). Yosef (Joseph), son of David, do not be afraid to take Miryam home with you as your wife; for what has been conceived in her is from the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Yeshua because he will save his people from their sins. Mattityahu (Matthew) 1:20b-21
Jesus was a Jew, and as a Jew his name was a Hebrew name. I am sure His mother Mariam (Mary) never called her son by a Greek name, it was Yahoshua, which = Yeshua (meaning; Salvation - God Saves).

Love jazz and watching Hells Kitchen, Top Chef, Top Model, Maury (peternity shows), Judge Mathis and Divorce Court. At the top of this list, I love listening to a good sermon forever increasing my faith in the Lord. Also as you can see, I'm a reality type of girl and on the that topic, make the most of every moment you have with your friends and loved ones it might be your last time in their presence. Memories last a life time while material things come and go.
