What a nightmare with I-95 closed this morning. I have found an alternate route. Frankford Avenue. Try it, it was pretty easy going this morning compared to Aramingo Avenue's crawl.
Hey, this is just a preview of what the neighborhood streets will be like if the casinos are allowed to be built and opened in Fishtown and South Philly. I-95 can't accomodate the rush hour traffic now. Everyday there is a large backup, Southbound in the morning, and Northbound in the afternoon. If these casino's are allowed to open, the traffic for them will come off of I-95 down onto the local streets. And when the people realize that 95 is a parking lot certain times of the day, they will be using more of the local streets to get to their destination. Let the casino's move to a better site, away from housing, and already congested streets.
