When we talk about weather, the politics of it is with respect to Space adventures and H20.  However, the life cycle also includes C02.  That's where Global Warming comes into play.  Shouldn't there be more associations of Global Warming with weather reports?  The word "pollution" doesn't mean much nowadays.  Aren't emission standards important in weather reports?  If you look at the beginnings of modern landscapes in Europe, they started including chimney smoke and factory smoke in the landscape.  When I left DC for Garland, TX, 1990, I noticed my eyes didn't tear any more when driving in Texas.  It was so bad in DC that I was scared driving.  Now that I'm back, it's not happening, surprisingly.

This article is very enlightening.  How does rain incorporate all this carbon material?  How about the ingredients of clouds?  Can we filter our Planet's coal for use for energy?  Why aren't we researching this actively like we did to get to the moon.   Do we have to get to the moon to find out?  Can't we monitor a lot of this on Earth and  simultaneously continue the Lunar experience to get to the top of the issue, right here in the USA? IOW, simultaneously deal with filter up and filter down.

==Soot almost as bad as CO2 for global warming

Smoke gets in eyes of climate boffinsBy Richard Thurston ? More by this authorPublished Tuesday 25th March 2008 16:30 GMT

US scientists have said switching anti-global warming efforts to tackling the production of soot would offer a quicker return than cutting CO2 emissions.According to US scientists, enormous damage is being done by soot, which is being created by the combustion of fossil fuels and as an indirect result of deforestation, among other factors.

They claim that soot - or black carbon to give it the scientific name - is the second biggest cause of global warming behind CO2, causing 60 percent of the warming effect of CO2.

Professor Greg Carmichael, of the University of Iowa and Professor V Ramanathan, of Scripps Institution of Oceanography, argue that tackling the emissions of soot offers a far quicker chance to address global warming than trying to reduce CO2 emissions. They said this is because soot has a much shorter lifetime than CO2, which can hang about for around 100 years.

The scientists, who published their research in the Nature Geoscience journal on Sunday, estimate that soot will have a surface warming effect on the Earth of "about 0.5 to 1 deg C". They say its energy effect is around 0.9 watts per square metre, substantially more than the 0.2 - 0.4 watts per square metre estimated by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Most of the world's soot was created by Europe and North America until the 1950s, but since then the two regions have been overtaken in their contribution by nations in the tropics and the Far East.In less developed countries, soot is created by cooking with biofuels such as wood, dung and crop residue. It's also produced by so-called open biomass burning, which is associated with deforestation and burning crops. ®

"Soot almost as bad as CO2 for global warming"

Being as how there's no evidence that CO2 is a "greenhouse gas" that's not saying much. Also, didn't you read my news piece on how the earth is actually cooling?
Besides,to hear NASA employed and Soros funded hack James Hansen tell it soot is supposed to be causing an ice age and CO2 was of no consequence,or at least that's what he was saying during the 70's.

An update article: It's important to know what the world is doing with our Planet and Industry and economy.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7426356.stm

What an individual thinks and who the individual believes means absolutely nothing. This is unbiased information gathering about the world evolving because of we the people. Global debate and decisions based on stats.

There are a huge majority of people in this world who believe there is such a thing as "heaven" in the first place. So I have to listen to that nonsense too. 12 million people were murdered because of heaven. No one listened to 12YO me that said there was no such thing.

I immediately after I posted the original blog followed my own advice and immediately zero'd in on this chart:

It is very insightful given the above U.K. article that I just found on my ISP's BBC world news headlines

"What an individual thinks and who the individual believes means absolutely nothing."

It is when he/she is THE one everyone else is taking their cues from.

Sorry,Boots but not only did the chart not come up but, just so you'll know, pretty much anything from the so called "Environmental Protection Agency" or the IPCC is pretty much bogus. The EPA is nothing more than a yes group for politicians. My grandmother lives less than a half a mile from one of their Superfund sites. You know what goes on there?Nothing! For years now there has been a little building where about a dozen people gather every morning, sit around all day doing nothing and then leave in the afternoon. The whole while it is built up as a massive cleanup site.Yet,no actual cleaning,or anything else for that matter, ever goes on.All the while this place is sucking up hundreds of millions in tax dollars and for what?Nothing!
The whole purpose of the EPA originally was to make Jimmy Carter look like he was really doing something important. Now it's purpose is to give politicians friends jobs and to stuff the ol' pork barrel.

Thanks for trying it out, Mount..., the chart. I always test it first. So I just tested again directly from this blog comments. I simply just highlighted the whole two lines and copied it then pasted it in a new empty browser window and instantly the chart came up. So it does work.
