How in the world is this NOT a hate crime.  Oh wait, I know, it was a bunch of scumbag blacks beating up a white woman.  Sarah did ABSOLUTELY nothing to provoke this.  She mearly wanted a seat.  Why is it that you barely, if at all heard about this in the media.  Why is it whites aren't marching and demonstrating.  Wait, I know the answer to that too...the majority of whites have jobs and can't afford to take the time off to demonstrate. I hope these scumbags get beaten to a pulp in jail.

Woman Beaten on Bus
Luke Broadwater, Baltimore Examiner, December 6, 2007

As Sarah Kreager, 26, tried to sit down on a Baltimore City bus Tuesday, police say, a middle-schooler told her she couldn’t. When she attempted to take another seat, a middle-schooler wouldn’t let her. Finally, according to police, Kreager just sat down.

She was “immediately attacked” by nine students—three females and six males—from Robert Poole Middle School. They punched and kicked her at 2:59 p.m. at the intersection of 33rd Street and Chestnut Avenue, according to Maryland Transit Administration police.

She sustained “serious injuries” and had to be transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to a police report.

Kreager suffered two broken bones in her left eye socket, police said.

“She had eye muscles that were damaged,” a police report states. “She had deep lacerations on the top of her head and another above her neck.”

All nine suspects, ages 14 and 15, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Greene [Jawauna Greene, an MTA police spokeswoman] said the investigation into the incident was ongoing and she didn’t know whether the attack had anything to do with the victim’s race.

The suspects in the incident are black. The victim is white, according to the police report.

Baltimore resident David Briggs, who lives near the crime scene, said the incident underscores Baltimore’s pervasive crime.

This must be some sort of Rosa Parks, alternate universe revenge. Busses, seats....we have come full circle. Ever since Arun got that fish....

they beat her pretty bad so there seems to be some hate! As a racial hate crime I hope it wasnt! Did Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton show up like they do when ever one race beats another? Keep the students off the bus for a long period of time to show you mean it!

I'm sure that will be their defense, it's revenge. And I'm sure Oprah will do a show on how these punks were dramatized by the Rosa Parks indicent that happened 40 years before they were born. Don't get me started again on Sharpton. He should be thrown in jail just for breathing.

White America needs to stand up and DEMAND these folks are charged with ethnic intimidation and race crimes. Turn-about is fair play!

That's what they should do but probably won't. It just sends the message that it's ok to commit violent crimes against whites. Another reason we should be allowed to carry a firearm.

Steveincanton..C'mon, it's pretty obvious that this was violent, racially motivated assault. You got the Jesse Jackson Al Sharpton thing wrong too, they show up only when a black is beaten by people of another race. Don't hold you breath waiting for them to condemn this attack.

What I wonder about is the teacher! Why wouldn't she let that woman sit down? Did she prompt this mini "mob mentality" driven assault by doing so?

As for the "big three" (and cnn) media outlets not reporting not reporting this, it just makes their liberal bias that much more obvious. Sooner or later their going to realize how unprofessional this proves them to be. Thank God for alternate sources of information!

Pfffttt...Crybabies get their feelings hurt and we have to hear about it for years! Others get beat up, and ??????

I'll bet my ten year old daughter can list more facts about Rosa Parks than Thomas Edison.

I'm not a racist person, but with all of the inner city urban crime, I'm beginning to question my convictions. How sad.

To me, a hate crime is when you target a specific type of person. Since these wimps targeted her, and only her, its a hate crime.
As for the 9 suspects, they will most likely get raped in jail, get a STD, and die a very slow and painful death. Not to sound morbid in any way, but that's the truth.

Shinigami, we can only hope that's what will happen to them. As of now, they are only being charged as juveniles, however the police now have video evidence of these scumbags harrassing other passengers on the bus and they know it wasn't provoked. They are looking into adding hate crime charges against them. The question is if they do add those charges are they tried as adults? I sure hope so!!

Beerman, any further news on that teachers role in this?

Maybe we need more things like this to occur...

Ibejim, Thanks, I've seen that video. Isn't it interesting that there was no violence, just a peaceful confrontation. Switch the two sides around and I can guarantee there would have been a riot with people getting killed.

Enough is enough. Where are the manners and morals of the youth today. I blame it on quite a few things. such as DCS handing out cards and telling kids to call if their parents punish them (justly or not).

The ease of Divorce and the ruinination of the nuclear family. the impovishment of non custodial parents. the removal of the draft, non caring selling out America type politicians. the me-ism of the Middle American.

I never once raised a hand to my mother, father; struck my teachers, used derogatory words or phases, and I accepted my parental guidance even if it meant a spanking. Trust me, I was spanked several times as a child and I am not a pyschotic individual or damaged goods from it.

Dr. Spock SUCKS. dont spare the child or you will (HAVE) spoiled them.. We have created monsters and the only way to kill the monster is change our tactics and beliefs.

I will no longer tolerate misbehavior in society and I will take a proactive stance anytime I witness any injustice prepatrated on another human being-BLACK/WHITE or otherwise.

When people ask me my nationality, I respond, "EARTHLING". It is long overdue that we human beings need to stop wearing the look glass darkly.

The Wake Up Call is here again and again and we are ignoring it.

WHY WE ALL JUST BE FRIENDS AND TREAT EACH OTHER KINDLY.

WE NEED ANOTHER LOVE REVOLUTION BUT THIS TIME WITH 100% REALISM. FORM NOW ON MY COLOR IS PURPLE...

I blame it on many things also. One of the main reasons is liberals wanting to control more and more of our lives, like you mentioned.....

"such as DCS handing out cards and telling kids to call if their parents punish them (justly or not).".....

And that list goes on, and on. Bloated/overdone government is not the answer, Its been (and is) happening for a long time in the big cities, and guess what? It ain't workin'.

The sooner we can become less dependent on the federal government, the better, no matter which party's holding the cards. NOLA is an example of that.

All bloated government does is bring in more corruption, red-tape delays, and self-interest group nonsense.
