I think some other sections of the City are in need of them. I know for a fact that the corner of VanKirk Street and Harbison Avenue is treacherous. People speed and blow that light on a regular basis. It has totalled quite a few automobiles and damaged property over the years, yet nothing is really done about it. The next intersection down is also prone to a lot of accidents from speed and going through the light and that's Cheltenham and Harbison Avenues. Anybody who knows these sections, know they're as bad, if not worse than those on the Roosevelt Blvd. Who else thinks more cameras should be installed in dangerous areas? If so, where?

I have noticed a change somewhat on the Boulevard, but I'd like to see more changes in and around the city. Too many hit and runs.

Would like to see those with no insurance lose their vehicles and be responsible for the accidents they commit too, but so many hit and take off. Some I have found to have license plates that have fictitious names and addresses - how's this possible?

The strip on Harbison from Cheltenham up to Comly (wa wa) is very dangerous. I drive it every day. People speed, its dark and pedestrians try to cross the street. People were killed on that block. I favor a camera, one traffic light and a patrol car.

Yes I remember when that boy was killed, that was terrible and so painful to see. I forgot about that part too, you're right the speed zone is from WaWa to Cheltenham. The speeding is just getting so bad along there. I cannot believe that nothing has been done about slowing people down especially after he was killed. I had my T-Bird totalled from a kid who was speeding around that bend at VanKirk who jumped the middle and took out 3 cars, my neighbor's entire fence and a light pole. My car was in my neighbor's yard. Nothing like waking up and seeing a pristine '97 T-Bird (last of the body make) all smashed up. The topper, he had no license and no insurance. Unfortunately that would not be the last anyone along that block would see of hit and runs and people driving with no insurance, its a regular site to see along there. Can't tell you how many vehicles the residents along that strip have lost. Its like the City and Police turns a blind eye and a deaf ear on that strip, even the firemen complain about it. Hopefully somebody wakes up and sees the problems.
