Who is the better candidate Barack or McCain?  Before answering that may we should have the opportunity to view the Republican National Convention.  The DNC was great and very inspiring.  What did you think of it?

ok people, why is all this mess we in Bush's fault? You are wrong. The fault lies in the Congress and house. not BUSH. If congress would have done what was asked of them in 2002 we would not be in this gas mess. We needed to me Iraq, you can hate it all you want but in 3 different cases we found WMD's and if the media wasn't so much against Bush the people in this country would now this. So tell me and give me the proff this is on Bush?

If a customer gets sick in my restaurant I take the blame, I don't blame my cooks or the shift manager. Bush is the leader and under HIS watch we are in the mess we are in, no accountability.

Hmmm...Have any of you ever heard of the Republican's DCBC, (Dirty Crooked Bastard's Club) They were republicans that were busted by the FBI. Every one is talking all this bull about how Barack Obama is "inexperience" but so is Palin, she graced the covers on alot of magazines, so doesn't that make her a celebrity also? And John McCain didn't pick her to make a difference in this country he only picked her because he thinks that you all who supported Hilary Clinton are idiots. I'm not saying that I am a Obama supporter but look at things for what they truly are. I don't know Barack but he seems very noble. McCain doesn't want to do anything traditional politicians have embodied the stereotype of cheesy attack ads, and gathering as many votes as they can to what?...make more money for themselves. He doesn't want to help us, he's just another man trying to get a promotion in the world of politics. Oh yeah how can the USA really be at war with a country that they used to sell weapons to in the 70's when they were at war with Russia.

Cheesecake77, you can't be trying to compare yourselve to the President of the United States ,are you? How arogant of you,if you are. But that's how liberals think, I guess. Mess? You must be getting things confused with "American idol" or something? I 'm not following your logic. Most people are doing extremely well in our country. And many more can also ,if they stop complaining and start doing!

Yeah "thesilveroreo", it was Palin who actually disposed them !!!!

You know who hates her the most -good ole boy republicans of Alaska. so you know she play's it fair. Something democrates could never do-go against their party.

As for experience, this is comical . She has more than Obama. She has actually ran something . She has been an executive as a mayor and governor.

What has Obama accomplished? Oh yeah, he's made great speeches and worked as a community organizer ,what ever the hell that is , on the the south side of Chicago for most of his political career.

He and Resco, however, fumbled 100 of millions of dollars of grant money (which the media has ignored on purpose) on programs they said were for the poor. But have you been to the south side of Chicago lately? Obama's stumping ground? It hasn't changed. Your" change" guy only pimp those people votes and support .Nothing else. Today, they are still poor and impoverish!!!

What did Obama get out of his great speeches to them?? A mansion, private school for his kids,a senate seat and far left wing support in his con effort to become president .

What a sham? He''s no man of change . He is a wannabe charlatan!!!

Hello Everyone. I come to all of you just to have you think about some things. I will address the Barack experience first.

Everyone keeps saying that Barack doesn't have experience. However have any of you heard the term "behind the scene"? Barack has done a lot of woork that the public or media does not want to talk about.

Also, from what I have seen for the last eight years, experience got us into a war. A war that George Bush started because he wanted oil. Gerorge Bush is a fool that cheated his way in office. Thank God that he is finally leaving office. He destroyed America. And it is ironic how those same people holding up signs that say "no more war" are the same people who voteed Bush into office!!!

Republicans, don't make the same mistake a third time. Vote for change. McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time. I am thinking the other 10% McCain wasn't there to vote with him. We do not need George W, McCain in office.

Experience counts and shouldn't be underrated. If you had to have open heart surgery, you chose the experienced doctor with years of practice, training and knowledge to perform the operation. You don't chose the new doctor fresh out of medical school who can talk a good game, but hasn't the experience to perform the open heart surgery you need.

With all due respect, Obama, is in need of seasoning before he takes on this job. No doubt, he inspires and and is a good communicator, but he's not ready just yet for this important role. I do predict he will be president within the next few years, but not before he gains the substance to allow him to back up his pretty words that only comes from experience.

first , I owe you respect . It's your blog and to create one tells me you are some one who has a position and a view of the world ,in which you live. But I can't let you get away with emotional tirades.

Fact 1: Yes, McCain did voted with the president 90% of time . BUT THAT WAS ONLY FOR A ONE YEAR PERIOD, my friend. Many OTHER Republicans came close to that same number, as well. That's usually how it works. Many dems voted 90% of the time for Clinton, during his term.

Fact 2: Iran was a treat, sir!!. Eventually, we would have had totake him out. It was better now than later. That's the real world ,my friend. It's not American Idol.

Fact 3. BusH went in for oil??? However,The threat of a saddam with nukes was more of the truth. Although oil has always played a part in world affairs ,after ..guess what my friend?..... we ,the United states, discovered it FIRST in the late 1900's in a SMALL TOWN in pensyvania ! Besides, do you know how many democrats ,including Bill Clinton have benefited off of BIG OIL? RESEARCH CLINTON AND DUBIA ,my freind.

Fact 4. If obama did do something extradinary behind the scences, turst me ,the liberal media ,who are in the tank for him, would have been the very first to report it.

Fact 5 Bush Cheated? It was a close race. But he beat your guy Kerry -a more popular democrate than Gore the second time around!!. So how can you say it was a fluke or unfiar. He beat your guys twice!!!! Come on man! Yous ound like a sore loser.

Fact 6 . The actually war ended in 1 month with the captured

Fact 6 . The actually war ended in 1 month with the captured of Sadamm. There after ,all we have done is created a place for democracy where people can have the same freedom you do. Our soilders have done a great job protecting the iraqi people, while their democracy gets stronger. What's wrong with that???? Are you so arogant that you think you are the only one that deserves the right to speak badly about your goverment? The Iraqi people deserves the same right!!!!. So there IS NO WAR, my friend . We arent shooting at Iraqi soilders and they arent shooting at us, so stop the T.V. drama.ok?

Our economy is in this shape because of a Herr Pelosi and the democrat lead congress. We already voted for change back in 2006, and, sadly we got it. Remember, things were much better before they took control. Congress are the lawmakers in this land, not the President. This congress's unwillingness to compromise is the main problem.

A precursor to what obama will bring? No doubt in my mind. After all, he is currently a senator, although, with 130 'present' votes...?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, doesn't one of Obama's campaign adds complain that were not getting our fair share of the oil that Iraq is currently producing? This war was for oil? C'MON!!

drerunner is right about Palin, she is an awesome pick, she represents real change, she has impecable character and integrity and she has more executive experience than McCain, Obama and Biden.

Obama may seem like a nice guy to have as my neighbor but he is the worst person for president. Obama is a socalist, borderline communist. Look at what some of our founding fathers have said and compare it to Obama and then read a little Carl Marx and tell me who Obama resembles more.............I guarantee you it is Marxx.

Obama is for redistribution of wealth, he wants to punish those who are successful and reward those who are lazy. This is America, land of the free, land of opportunity. America does not say "come here and everything will be provided for you" It says come here and your success is limited only by your WILL and talent" Not to mentin that fact that the corporations are the ones who create jobs if you tax them more it is less money they have to pay employees and their benefits, there will be layoffs, etc. and it will be all downhill from there. I do not always agree with Bush but his tax cuts have created the most tax revenue in recent American history.........unfortunately, his administration has not always spent is well. But Palin will stop wateful spending.

Nationalized healthcare hasn't worked anywhere, why would it work here? those who live in other coutnries come here for the best healthcare. The government should help those who can not get health insurance, this means the young, the old and the disabled who can not help themselv

correction to drerunner, Obama does not give good speeches, he just reads them well. When he actually has to talk without something written for him, not by him it has a lot of uuumms, and ahhhs, and ands, etc. etc,

Menamouse, I was wondering about that very same thing. I want to hear Obama in an unstructured environment, to see him go 'off the cuff' so to speak.

Perhaps this is why he avoids those 'town hall' type of debates?

McCain and Palin may be exactly what America needs right now. A man who is fearless against popular opinion supported by a woman who has a passion for justice. Palin was impressive on Wed. night. She connected with parents and children who love and support each other even when things aren't perfect or exactly what was planned or expected....a refreshing change from what we usually get from politicians. If she can do for America what she's been able to do for Alaska, our country will be back on track.
