The hope of an entire nation
a clashing imbroglio attended by fear and
prejudices
Millions of souls disturbed and restless
The fears of horrors yet unknown and
horrors long past
Love and hate inverted and ill
defined
Merged into a cloudy haze of autumnal
sunset
Millions seek answers to questions
but fall on deaf ears, mute
Bully pulpits warmed by spit-polished
shoes stained by flat-pancaked gum
Charlatans do their tap dances,
the public awaits the prestige
Spin-meisters weave their gossamer strings
taught, tight, noose-like wrapped
escape if you can
Repeated many times
Eloquence
Experience
Character
Strength
Wit
Ideas
Change
Who will it be?
Does it really matter?
tap, tap, tap...
spin, spin, spin.
Tell us a little more
we hear you loud and clear
Do that dance for us,
we love it so
Who cares who wins?
I'll have a beer.

You may not care who wins today. But I can assure you that you will in 3 years. And a beer won't ease your pain much if a liberal socialist gets elected and gains control. You'll need a couple cases, that is if the government allows you to drink at all and beer isn't found to contribute to global warming. Don't laugh. I am dead serious.

I think they will allow us to drink beer. They'll just pile more taxes on it. But the gist of what you stated is right Stever. They will control more and more of our lives, and force us to become dependent upon the Fed. Big brother knows best, Right?

A poet you are and I might add a good one. You speak your mind. A real rapper without the dirty lyrics raps of how you see your world. But, we still are left in a world of reality. We may feel we can't change a thing but yet the true failure is "not tying". Just like you said:The hope of an entire nation
a clashing imbroglio attended by fear and
prejudices. Yes, there are lots of bitterness in this world. But, it will take people like yourself with open eyes to help solve problems making it less complicated. Who cares who wins, I do and you do too or you would have never blogged about our compilcated screwed up world.

Obama needs to get over Hillary Clinton...does he have anything else to offer than to talk about Hillary. He started out great but, now he seems to have run out issues to talk about so it is Hillary and more Hillary non stop. He is making it seem as if he has nothing else to say...he has to have more interesting issues to talk about than Hillary...tell us about you.

I do not know,
I don't get it
Why are Democrats
Idiots.
They bring big government
a crushing load
They will raise your taxes
til you explode.
They take your guns
your ammo too
bring Socialized Medicine
thats what they'll do
They will run and hide
from Iraq.

Fight for freedom our soldiers will
While Democrats refuse to pay the bills
We will not keep our soldiers safe,
this war we believe is a Nations disgrace.
Funding we'll stop in the house
time tables we want to get us out.
To make our point, we'll let them bleed
a time table is what we need.
They steal for the rich via taxation
and give to the poor and Kill our Nation
They want to regulate over your lives
they say Global Warmiong will be our demise
They want change for our Great Nation
Socialist policies, an abomination.
Entitlements are not free
those with money will pay the fee.
When the money has dried up,
and we are all as one
A socialist Nation we have become.
So be careful what you wish for
It just might come true
A Socialist Nation
Is not RED, WHITE or BLUE!!!!!!!
