Scot Young announced his retirement from the NHL, he is added to the list of many "old-timers" that have hung up the skates recently. Why? Is it age v. speed of the new game? Is it aches & pains dont go away fast as they used too?...OR is it the reason MANY season ticket holders hung up their checkbooks this year? MANAGEMENT... My seats increased in price but I dont know about value...I have less "perks" than I used too. I hear the promotional giveaways will be reduced this year. I sense NO gratitude or respect for the season ticket holders that have renewed each year and lately there have been some pretty poopy years to remember. Now some of you will say I'm whimping out...not so...I think Dave "C" is going to be good for BLUES Hockey...and since the nameing rights change my Savvis stock that I bought thru Scottrade has actually increased in value. I think they made some good moves in the off season and I'm POSITIVE about the coming year. Think about it...it would make sense to GIVE pre-season tickets to season ticket holders...The place is hardly occupied during pre-season...I'll bet more season ticket holders would come to a FREE pre-season game...and BUY more "stuff" and feel a sense of acknowledgement from the owners!...as always...GO BLUES!!! AND GOOD LUCK SCOTTY!
