Forget which candidate stands for what. Forget the mudslinging ads, the promises tailored for votes and await Tuesday night and beyond!
If Obama wins the presidency, there will be a LOT of "celebrating" across America's cities in the form of rioting and looting! Think not? Look at the Rodney King and OJ Simpson trials. Look at the cities of Boston and Philadaelphia AFTER they won the world series in their respective years. There will be a validation of destruction after "the black man's candidate" wins.
Only one thing would be worse. What if Obama LOSES the election?
The rioting and looting and "retaliation for a fixed election" would make the winning chaos pale by comparison!
So vote for your candidate of choice this election day. Then prepare yourself, your property and especially your loved ones for the rioting that will come after the winner is announced. Mark my words, there WILL be hell in Amercia one way or the other....
I, for one will be ready as a soldier always is...

The mess that is Wallstreet and the stock market has been building to a head for decades! Both republican and democratic administrations have turned their heads from the brokers letting insider trading and unscrupulous ethics build fortunes for some and like a house of cards, sooner or later it's going to fall.
To blame this crash, yes, CRASH on the past eight years is a political ploy. This started back in the 1960's and has run unchecked until gravity pulled the cards down. Both parties have dirty hands in this and for one or the other to pass the buck is what contributed to this financial fiasco!
SHOULD we bailout the market with taxpayer's money? Ethically, NO....
DO WE NEED to bail out the market? Sadly, YES....
To let the world's markets continue on this downward spiral will eventually lead to a depression here and the world-wide ramifications will be horrendous! How many countries will buy up America? How many will themselves collapse, taking others with them? It's reality and it scares the hell out of me, people.
So after all the dust settles, bailout AIG and the rest of the irresponsible brokerages, BUT........
Give the stock to the people whose money is bailing them out! Consider it America buying the stock of these companies to save them. Even if it amounts to just .5 of a share for each taxpayer, the lesson will be learned.
A good analogy of this is to think of your kid throwing stones towards the neighbor's house. You tell them to stop, over and over, but do nothing about it. Sooner or later a window breaks. Do you pay for it and let the kid keep throwing rocks? NO! You pay for it and have the kid work for TWICE the replacement cost, once for the window owner and once for you for bailing him out.

So, Daisey Lynum has had her official city parking permit up for free use!
Lynum's son, who lost an unsuccessful bid at a political job has been using his mommy's parking permit to the tune of over $2000.00 owed.
Daisey was asked what she thought of it and she replied that "what's mine is his."
Does prison time or fines fall into that category, Daisey?
This is an outrage and no accident! For someone in her position to coddle her little son with cell calls when he's pulled over by the police is one thing, to blatantly break the law-both knowing they were-and no charges levied against either of them shows that the Police chief in Orlando either has no clue or is in Daisey's pocket.
If both do not face charges and make sure theft of over $2000.00 is included, I have to renounce any support for the police of Orlando, this county and this state.
Is this a race card to play again?

The one mother of the Jones high school student who is pictured with a female student in their year book with writing under both pictures that says, "Most likely to appear on the show COPS" needs to be a better mother!
Her tirade on TV about how this will scar him for life and follow him forever obviously shows that this mother thinks of her son as a criminal, thief, murderer, felon, etc. She must be raising him to be that way or she wouldn't make the statements that allege he is this way.
We all know yearbook staffs slide in joke profiles all across the country-no harm done and the only place I can see one being brought up is at a reunion.
Perhaps this couple in the year book are thought of upstanding students who want a career in law enforcement, hence their appearances on COPS would be as police officers and NOT as criminals. Lawyers for the school, feel free to use that defense...
A lawsuit is going to come of this, the mother did everything but say one would. It is ridiculous and frivolous and if she thinks her son is on the bad end of COPS, it's her fault for raising him that way.

With all the SNAFUs to his name, this is probably the greatest so far for Mr. Blocker!
Changing the bus times for the schools in order to save money (Pssst Ron, how big was your pay raise?) is going to cause more trouble than the money it will supposedly save.
With all grades getting out at 4:30 pm and the ensueing bus travel time, it's a recipe for disaster.
Rush hour traffic is going to compete and the losers will be the kids hit by a driver rushing to get home. Sports, work and extra-curricular activities will have a steep drop off due to the lack of afternoon and evening time. Day cares will over crowd even more with parents having to adjust.
So what will these kids who used to play sports, work part time or watch their siblings after school do? IDLE HANDS, Ron, IDLE hands! I can see more kids without jobs or sports to participate in roaming the streets just wondering how to fill their time.....
One final note, for every kid hit by a car due to the dark or rush hour traffic, Mr. Blocker should have $1000.00 deducted from his salary. Within 6 months the teachers will make more than him!
Just when I think your decisions couldn't get any dumber you prove us all wrong!

I've seen this band ever since my first concert-their Fly by Night tour when I was, well, young....lol
Since '75 they've always put the fans first and last night in Orlando was no different.
If you were there, you know what I mean! Rush is one of the best stage shows going and Neil Peart's drumming is still amazing to watch.
Right now I'm having morning coffee and listening to the ringing in my ears, but also glad I went with my son to our first concert together. He had more of a good time than I did (If thats possible) and it was an experience to remember!

I just saw the news item on 200 violations of non-handicapped people using handicap spots at the airport. Amazes me that the majority are airport workers!
I have a disk problem in my back and have a handicap placard that I use ONLY when walking is going to be very painful. I have become more aware of the vehicles that use these spots and always check to see if they have a placard or plate designating them as a rightful user of one of these parking spots.
I know a lot of people "borrow" gramma's placard and go to events or crowded areas hoping to get an upfront spot and the police should check the numbers on the placard with their license. No match-tow and impound the car!
I found my own stress reliever for these inconsiderate idiots. I bought a package of ink jet labels and printed up a very nice message on them letting them know what inconviences they are causing people who truly need those spots.
I keep a few in my wallet and when I have to park a good walk from a store, etc. and then find a vehicle with no handicap placard, plate or any kind of notification taking up a space, especially SUVs, I paste one right in the center of the driver's side front windshield. I sometimes observe individuals jumping out of SUVs and jogging up to the store-they get more than one.
So, if you've ever been in the handicapped side of parking and find some idiot using the spot illegally, you can have some fun.

Why is the price of oil so high? Answer: you are addicted to it, America.
The OPEC nations have raised the price of a bbl and decreased production because they know oil is on it's way out and they need to make as much money as they can before it's replaced. Supply and demand.
The big oil companies know the same and as long as they stuff politician's pockets, our government will let them sell it to us for a higher price.
Without oil (gasoline, etc.) your life would change drastically and you, we, are so addicted to it we're not ready to give up the habit.
There was a show on the Discovery channel highlighting corn and it's many uses, both old and NEW!
If the government would stop taking bribes from the oil lobbyists and turn it's attention to corn, we would be the nation that the WORLD comes to for more than just fuel!
Corn is now being used in everything from food to fuel, propellants to plastics and everything in between. This is a country with the LARGEST corn fields in the world right now and here we sit sucking on big oil's main teat, wishing the price would drop a few pennies each day.
Write your representatives and demand a faster switch to a fuel that we have in abundance.
It's funny, but you can almost hear how "Big Corn" companies will be kissed up to by D.C. in the near future...

Once upon a time there was a town called Orlando.
A mixed community with some inner city trouble.
So a group of citizens moved to outling areas or started them, like Pine Hills, Winter Park, etc.
Soon trouble flowed from Orlando into these nice to live communities and while one has earned a dubious nickname, the other is starting to.
Then some citizens of a town called Ocoee ran a nice place to live, away from the crime and murder and robberies.
The unwanted moved there and then one county school thug decided to move his very Letter F rated school's trouble makers out to Ocoee, which is in another county by the way.
Now that towns mayor is furious!
You cannot dispute these facts, you may not like them, but you cannot change the facts.
Remember- Those who forget history are DOOMED to repeat it...

Not sure if news or weather is right for this, but....
On the morning of 3/10/08 between 6-6:40 am, I was out taking pictures with my telescope of Jupiter in the e-se skies. At one point I looked up to the south and a BIG red fireball crossed the southern sky, coming from the west on a downward angle, probably into the Atlantic ocean. It burn an eerie red and did not burn out.
Does anyone know if this was a natural or manmade fireball? I heard that there was a sattelite coming down and wondered if this was it?

Let's make this easy, just give me your money and I'll take back any insults I may have made to any of you.
That's the story with Hillary and Obama now! Remember back when Florida moved it's primary date up and BOTH of these candidates said NO!!!! to allowing Florida's democrats to have their RIGHT to VOTE be counted!!!!! They abused all of you democrats in Florida! Told you your opinion meant nothing!
Now they want ALL Floridians to pay for ANOTHER election between just the two of them!!!!!
That's right-no other democratic candidate on the ticket besides Hillary & Obama and YOU will have to PAY for the "privelege" of giving one of them your vote!
Can I just slap you in the face, too?
If this is any indication of how YOUR MONEY is going to be blown by the democrats, VOTE NO to either of these, REFUSE to participate and CALL FOR NO RE-VOTE!!!
They cut your vote out so they could concentrate on other states and now they're saying you were wronged by others and not themselves!!!! How bold faced is this lie!!!!!!
Just say no to Democrats and keep your hard earned money in these harder times.

I just saw the news segment about the mom who made her son stand on a busy intersection corner with a HUGE sign around his neck stating that "I WAS STUPID - I was driving 100 mph and could have killed my friends! Thank God" or words to that effect.
Mom, you get the parent of the week award in my book and even though junior was driving recklessly, I will give him credit for standing there like a man and taking his dues.
We need more of this, not in-and-out juvie halls for traffic violations and the like.
Embarrassing? Yes. Will he learn? I hope so!

OK, for the most part, babbling by democratic candidates goes in one ear and out the other with me. Too much pablum for me to swallow. I DO have a question for any supporters of that party, whether knee-jerk voters or if you just like the issues and therein lies the problem....
Osama Hussein Barracka or whatever is doing a great MLK impersonation and spouts off about the "Change you can believe in!" Ummmm, aside from wanting to move factories to Africa after he abolishes NAFTA, what changes? I haven't heard anything but cute remarks about Ironballs Hillary from him on TV so what is this "change" he has, well, aside from swearing in on the Koran instead of the Bible?
As for 'Ol Ironballs, what is she???!!!! One state she's crying for the babies of America, next she's blasting Osama and now she's a late night comedian? I don't think anyone believes in the promises of a Clinton universal healthcare since Slick Willy rode it for 8 years of office with nothing to show but a sticky cigar.....
So, anyone out there know what the game is?

Wow, save for the year that most of the multi-million dollar commercials were for E-something or other, this has been a BIG disappointment as far as commercials go.
I'd have to give my vote for the best Superbowl commercial to FOX's programming commercial where they had the NFL robo-player attacked by the Terminator robot.
Original, unexpected and funny!
Wake up, Bud and pepsi, you're wasting more money each year!
Anyone else find one better than others?
