Imagine for a few moments that you are the Human Resources Director of a major, multi-billion dollar U.S. corporation.  You are sitting in your large, luxurious office when you receive a phone call from the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

He tells you that the board is considering a candidate for a high-level executive position. He advises you to complete a thorough background investigation and have it to him within 10 days.

You immediately call the private detective agency you have used for years and give them the name and address of the prospective candidate, along with the deadline for a high level security clearance.

Your next move is to call your assistant to your office, giving him/her the candidate's personal information along with instructions to 'do your standard beginning background checks.'

Preliminary findings begin landing in your fax machine on the third day.

·   Your candidate has used more than one name.

·   His original birth certificate is unavailable

·   He was mentored during his youth by a high level communist in Hawaii .

·   You receive a 3 page 'dossier' on Frank Marshall Davis.

·   You also learn the candidate was proctored into an elite Eastern private university by a middle eastern Muslim.

·   You receive a short dossier on Khalid al-Mansour.

·   You learn the candidate has terrorist organization 'Nations of Islam' employees on his current staff, and one of his advisors is a member of the global terrorist group 'Muslim Brotherhood.'

On day four, you receive in the mail from the security agency two books the candidate has written.

You read both books, highlighting the anti-American, anti-white racist passages.

You note the admissions of drug use.

You also receive in the packet a copy of the bitter, anti-white thesis his wife wrote as a college undergraduate.

You receive a 4 page fax on the candidate's relative, Raila Odinga, who is connected with brutal Muslim politics in Africa, and background information on the candidate's estranged father who was part of Kenya 's most corrupt regime.

The fifth day brings to your special delivery mail

·   The complete background on Bill Ayers; his association with your candidate, his FBI criminal record, and

·   A copy of the book 'Rules for Radicals' written by communist Saul Alinsky.

·   You are advised your candidate used tactics from 'Rules for Radicals' at his previous employment.

·   You are advised the candidate's wife used an excerpt from this book during a recent speech

You receive by fax, a background on A.C.O.R.N. and an alert:

·   That this group is being watched by the U.S. Department of Justice and other state and local law enforcement agencies.

·    You learn your candidate is endorsed by every Muslim terrorist organization on Earth; that he holds Muslim beliefs.

·   You learn that the candidate's pastor met with global terrorist Muammar al-Gaddafi in Libya , along with their mutual friend and anti-American Louis Farrakhan.

·   You receive printed transcripts of his pastor's anti-white, anti-American 'sermons' and are advised your candidate has been close personal friends with this 'pastor' for two decades.

·   Your candidate has referred to this radical pastor as his 'personal spiritual advisor' and, in fact, the title of one of your candidate's memoirs was inspired by a line from this pastor's 'sermons.'

In your fax machine on the sixth morning is

·   a file on one Tony Rezko; his friendship, associations and business transactions with your candidate as well as with high level 'people' of Middle Eastern origin, and his federal conviction.

You will spend most of day seven compiling a file on the candidate, The Obama File, complete with footnotes and cross references.

Additional information is arriving regarding the candidate's friends and acquaintances during college, and you learn that:

·   He did not run with a mainstream crowd, but chose radicals and communist agitators for his social group.

The morning of the eighth day has arrived and you and your assistant have placed a small mountain of background information into manageable 'piles' including:

·   Photographs of the candidate's family in Africa,

·   He and George Soros (including a brief file on the Soros 'Open Society Institute'),

·   Photos of the candidate and Louis Farrakhan and anti-Israel Arafat advisor Edward Said.

You begin to outline and write your 'Summary Evaluation' to the Chairman of the Board of Directors:

·   This candidate has a tissue thin work experience resume.

·   He has not managed large groups of personnel, departments, material, or P&L statements.

·   This candidate's own writing exhibits a deep-seated anger and resentment towards people of the Caucasian race over the issue of slavery.

·   His emotional gravitas is centered upon his African heritage and his belief that the white man is responsible for global poverty and unequal sharing of wealth.

·   The candidate's personal associations since childhood have been mostly with radical African Americans, Muslims, and communists, i.e. those who harbor anger towards The United States of America.

·   Particularly disturbing is his lengthy relationship with Bill Ayers, an unrepentant Weatherman radical who bombed government buildings and advocated the overthrow of the United States.

·   Given the current global situation of nearly twelve thousand Muslim acts of terrorism since 9/11, it is disturbing to find his close associations with Muslim groups. http://www.mafo2008.com/

                                                   

·   I have highlighted passages in both books and find one particularly disturbing: 'Should the political winds shift in an ugly direction I will side with the Muslims.'

·   The candidate has surrounded himself with anti-American grievance mongers and appears to manipulate 'typical white people' by appealing to their guilt about slavery.

·   He is a socialist, perhaps even a Marxist, and totally disenfranchised from the history of 'root America.'

·   The candidate refuses to discuss his years at Columbia University, although he lived off campus and made few friends.

·   The candidate has published TWO different birth certificates.

·   He will not release his application to the state bar which raises questions on several issues including the use of drugs.

·   Very little is available about his experience with the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a foundation that spent $100 million with no discernable benefit for the schools and students that it was putatively designed to help.

It is therefore my strongest recommendation this candidate not be considered for any position within the corporation.

I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.
 
Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in
a We Deserve It Dividend.
 
To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000
bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+.
 
Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman
and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up..
 
So divide 200 million adults 18+  into $85 billon that equals
$425,000.00.
 
My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a
We Deserve It Dividend.
 
Of course, it would NOT be tax free.
So let's assume a tax rate of 30%.
 
Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes.
That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.
 
But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket.
A husband and wife has $595,000.00.
 
What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?
Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved.
Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads
Put away money for college - it'll be there
Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs.
Buy a new car - create jobs
Invest in the market - capital drives growth
Pay for your parent's medical insurance - health care improves
Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean - or else
 
Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+  including the folks

If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's really do it...instead of

As for AIG - liquidate it.
Sell off its parts.
Let American General go back to being American General.
Sell off the real estate.
Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.
 
Here's my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn't.

Change ... Change ... Change!!!!!!!!!!

 

      Not long ago I read what was, supposedly, a joke ... It said all the politicians running for president are promising change to the American people.. We send them billions and billions of tax dollars and they send us the change.

 

      Funny?  Not really; there is too much truth in it to be funny.

 

 They ALL promise change.

 

 How about if they run on a promise of restoration rather than change. A restoration that would take us back in time to a place where things ran better, smoother and life was more enjoyable.

 

      Change?  That, in truth, is what they have been giving us all along.

 

      We USED to have a strong dollar ... Politicians changed that.

 

      Life USED to be sacred .... Politicians changed that.

 

      Marriage USED to be sacred ... Politicians are changing that.

 

      We USED to be respected around the world ... Politicians changed that.

 

      We USED to have a strong manufacturing economy ... Politicians changed that.

 

      We USED to have lower tax structures ... Politicians changed that.

 

      We USED to enjoy more freedoms ... Politicians changed that.

 

      We USED to be a large exporter of American made goods ... Politicians changed that.

 

      We USED to be an OPENLY Christian nation ... Politicians changed that.

      The trouble is, America's youthful voters today don't know of the great America that existed forty and fifty years ago.  They see the world as if it has always existed, as it is now.

 

      When will we wake up?      Tomorrow may be too late.

 

      When will America realize ... Politicians are what is wrong with America?

 

      We can’t keep electing the same old people to congress and expect to get a different result.

 

I checked this oout on snopes and other sites and it is not confirmed this will happen but it is also not denied. Snopes says it is doubtful but..............if anyone saw video of Biden speaking with Katie Couric, he may be removed from the ticket for senility. We will all have to keep watching this and I hope noone will be duped by this. IF this is done, it is all for political gain...anything to win!!! This would have no bearing on my vote. What I hope people are watching is the financial crisis. McCain is putting aside his campign to help our country and do the senatorial job he is paid to do whereas Obama wants to be the celebrity that he thinks he is, continue to campaign and will go to Washington if necessary. He downgraded McCain by saying the president has to be a multi tasker....don't we all think McCain knows that but when your country is on the brink of complete financial ruin, where would you want the president and your congressional representatives...doing their job or sitting on their hands? On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary.  This is timed to occur after the VP debate on 10/2.   There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info.  generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out there to as many blog sites and personal emaillists as is=2 0possible.  i have already seen a few short blurbs about this - the "health problem" cited in those articles was aneurysm.  probably many of you have heard the same rumblings.however, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like this obama strategy will be a go.  therefore, it seems that the best strategy is to get out in front of this obama maneuver,  spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is.
 
So, let's start mixing this one up and cut the obamites off at the pass - send this info out to as many people as you can - post about it on websites and blogs - etc etc

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that's it.
In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.
When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force.
The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gang banger, and a single guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender.
There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we'd be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a [armed] mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger's potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat--it has no validity when most of a mugger's potential marks are armed.
 People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that's the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.
 Then there's the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser.
 People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don't constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level. 
The gun is the only weapon that's as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weight lifter. It simply wouldn't work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn't both lethal and easily employable.
 When I carry a gun, I don't do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I'm looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don't carry it because I'm afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn't limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation...and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

I'm sorry if this has been posted already...but I found this extremely profound and just had to post for others to read. It really just gives you reason to ponder the next time we gripe about what we have here in the USA and what our military is living through. Please just read and think about it. And I hope and pray that all of us think and search ourselves really hard when election day rolls around. We all will have nobody but ourselves to blame if the wrong person is elected to lead our nation.

I stare out into the darkness from my post, and I watch the city burn to the ground. I smell the familiar smells, I walk through the familiar rubble, and I look at the frightened faces that watch me pass down the streets of their neighborhoods.
My nerves hardly rest; my hands are steady on a device that has been given to me from my government for the purpose of taking the lives of others. I sweat, and I am tired. My back aches from the loads I carry. Young American boys look to me to direct them in a manner that will someday allow them to see their families again. And yet, I too, am just a boy....my age not but a few years more than that of the ones I lead. I am stressed, I am scared, and I am paranoid... because death is everywhere. It waits for me, it calls to me from around street corners and windows, and........it is always there.
There are the demons that follow me, and tempt me into thoughts and actions that are not my own...but that are necessary for survival. I've made compromises with my humanity. And I am not alone in this. Miles from me are my brethren in this world, who walk in the same streets... who feel the same things, whether they admit to it or not. And to think, I volunteered for this... And I am ignorant to the rest of the world...or so I thought. But even thousands of miles away, in Ramadi, Iraq, the cries and screams and complaints of the ungrateful reach me. In a year, I will be thrust back into society from a life and mentality that doesn't fit your average man.
And then, I will be alone.
And then, I will walk down the streets of America, and see the yellow ribbon stickers on the cars of the same people who compare our President to Hitler. I will watch the television and watch the Cindy Sheehan’s, and the Al Franken’s, and the rest of the ignorant sheep of America spout off their mouths about a subject they know nothing about. It is their right, however, and it is a right that is defended by hundreds of thousands of boys and girls scattered across the world, far from home. I use the words boys and girls, because that's what they are. In the Army, the average age of the infantryman is nineteen years old. The average rank of soldiers killed in action is Private First Class. People like Cindy Sheehan are ignorant. Not just to this war, but to the results of their idiotic ramblings, or, at least I hope they are. They don't realize its effects on this war.
In this war, there are no Geneva Conventions, no cease fires. Medics and Chaplains are not spared from the enemy's brutality because it's against the rules. I can only imagine the horrors a military Chaplain would experience at the hands of the enemy. The enemy slinks in the shadows and fights a coward's war against us. It is effective though, as many men and women have died since the start of this war. And the memory of their service to America is tainted by the inconsiderate remarks on our nation's news outlets. And every day, the enemy changes...only now, the enemy is becoming something new. The enemy is transitioning from the Muslim extremists to Americans. The enemy is becoming the very people whom we defend with our lives. And they do not realize it. But in denouncing our actions, denouncing our leaders, denouncing the war we live and fight, they are isolating the military from society...and they are becoming our enemy.
The Senate Democrats and peace activists like to toss the word "quagmire" around and compare this war to Vietnam. In a way they are right, this war is becoming like Vietnam. Not the actual war, but in the isolation of country and military. America is not a nation at war; they are a nation with its military at war. Like it or not, we are here, some of us for our second, or third times; some even for their fourth and so on. Americans are so concerned now with politics, that it is interfering with our war.
<>Terrorists cut the heads off of American citizens on the Internet... and there is no outrage, but an American soldier kills an Iraqi in the midst of battle, and there are investigations, and sometimes soldiers are even jailed...for doing their job. It is absolutely sickening to me to think our country has come to this. Why are we so obsessed with the bad news? Why will people stop at nothing to be against this war, no matter how much evidence of the good we've done is thrown in their face? When is the last time CNN or MSNBC or CBS reported the opening of schools and hospitals in Iraq. Or the leaders of terror cells being detained or killed? It's all happening, but people will not let up their hatred of Bush. They will ignore the good news, because it just might show people that Bush was right.
America has lost its will to fight. It has lost its will to defend what is right and just in the world. The crazy thing of it all is that the American people have not even been asked to sacrifice a single thing.
It's not like World War Two, where people rationed food, and turned in cars to be made into metal for tanks. The American people have not been asked to sacrifice anything. Unless you are in the military or the family member of a service member, it is life as usual...the war doesn't affect you. But it affects us. And when it is over, and the troops come home, and they try to piece together what's left of them after their service...where will the detractors be then? Where will the Cindy Sheehan’s be to comfort and talk to soldiers and help them sort out the last couple years of their lives, most of which have been spent dodging death and wading through the deaths of their friends? They will be where they always are, somewhere far away, where the horrors of the world can't touch them. Somewhere where they can complain about things they will never experience in their lifetime; things that the young men and women of America have willingly taken upon their shoulders.
We are the hope of the Iraqi people. They want what everyone else wants in life: safety, security, somewhere to call home. They want a country that is safe to raise their children in. Not a place where their children will be abducted, raped, and murdered if they do not comply with the terrorists demands. They want to live on, rebuild and prosper. And America has given them the opportunity, but only if we stay true to the cause, and see it to its end. But the country must unite in this endeavor... we cannot place the burden on our military alone. We must all stand up and fight, whether in uniform or not. And supporting us is more than sticking yellow ribbon stickers on your cars. It's supporting our President, our troops and our cause. Right now, the burden is all on the American soldiers.
Right now, hope rides alone.
But it can change, it must change. Because there is only failure and darkness ahead for us as a country, as a people, if it doesn't. Let's stop all the political nonsense, let's stop all the bickering, let's stop all the bad news, and let's stand and fight!

I'm not sure how many letters or articles you've ever read from the genre of "News from the Front," but this is one of the best I've ever read, including all of America's wars. As I was reading this, I forgot that it was my son who had written it. My emotions range from great pride to great sorrow, knowing that my little boy (22 years old) has become this man. He is my hero.

Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah.  It's the Trinity Church of Christ.  I found this interesting.

Strip away his nice looks, the big smile and smooth talk and what do you get? Certainly a racist, as plainly defined by the stated position of his church! And possibly a covert worshiper of the Muslim faith, even today. This guy desires to rule over America

It was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of Lt.Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration.

There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning!

He was being drilled by a senator; "Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?"

Ollie replied, "Yes, I did, Sir."

The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, "Isn't that just a little excessive?"

"No, sir," continued Ollie.

"No? And why not?" the senator asked.

"Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir."

"Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned.

"By a terrorist, sir" Ollie answered.

"Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?"

"His name is Osama bin Laden, sir" Ollie replied.

At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued. Why are you so afraid of this man?" the senator asked

"Because, sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of", Ollie answered.

"And what do you recommend we do about him?" asked the senator.

"Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth."

The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip.


By the way, that senator was Al Gore!

Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners."

However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands, The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners be released.

Thus Mohammad Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center . This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified.
It was censored in the US from all later reports.

This has been kept alive and moving since 9/11. In memory of all those who perished this morning; the passengers and the pilots on the United Air and AA flights, the workers in the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and all the innocent bystanders. Our prayers go out to the friends and families of the deceased.

I’m just not understanding something about my sister’s case. She was supposed to drop off her son at her "can't-be-soon-enough"-X-husbands place in the morning before she went to work and then pick him up after work around 3:30pm. My sister is the residential parent and she has a restraining order against her soon to be X-husband. Last Friday, when she went to pick up their son, her husband came out to the car (in violation of the restraining order) and said that because she was 30 minutes late, he didn’t have to let the child go. My sister asked why he was so close to the car and he explained that SHE was on HIS property! She had called him to let him know that she had overslept and was running late but managed to get there in 26 minutes. her husband said, "I never got any phone call and according to MY clock, you're way past the 30 minutes." She immediately called the police. While she was on the phone with the police, he went into the house and came out later with their son. She remained on the phone with the police and tried to get her son in the car and buckled as quickly as possible so she could get away from her husband. The whole time, her husband has his upper body leaning in on the passenger side window. My sister, still on the phone, puts car in reverse and slowly begins backing up. Next thing she knew, her husband was yelling, "You jut ran over my foot!" Now, she has domestic violence charges charged against her but nobody seems to care that HE violated the restraining order when he approached the car and if he wouldn't have violated the restraining order...he never would've been close enough for her to run over his foot! 

Then, Sunday night, he threatened to come out to her house and take their son from her place. I went out and spent the night with her and at 3am witnessed him pulling into the drive and just sitting there for approximately 3 minutes before leaving. Then, we dropped off her boy before work Monday morning and he's standing on the porch yelling for her to come up and sign his cast. She just ignored him but he little boy was totally confused when he heard daddy screaming that mommy had run him over. She and I went back, after work, to pick her son up and nobody was at home. We waited the 1/2 hour and then called the attorney, he said to call the police and the police say there isn't anything they can do. All those papers she has aren't worth the ink they're written with. It is now Wednesday and we’ve not heard from the husband or the little boy. My sister can’t get anybody to answer the phone or call her back, for all we know they’ve left the state and yet, nobody will do anything to help her find her son. Her attorney is filing “contempt of court” papers today but you and I both know how worthless those are! Why won’t anybody help her locate her son and her soon-to-be-X-husband? None of us have seen him in or around town. His family keeps saying he’s “there” or “here” but by the time we get or call where he’s supposed to be, he’s not there. And his family will lie to their graves for him so their information isn’t always the truth.

So, can anybody explain to me WHY kidnapping charges haven't been brought up against this man? WHY he can do this and nobody seems to care for the mother? Read some of my earlier blogs and you'll see all the other crap that she's dealt with in the past from this man. He's even turned her 16-year-old son (from her first marriage, not his) against her. Although, I'm going to give my nephew the benefit of the doubt on some of this. I honestly believe the boy has some mental issues and may even be bi-polar or schizophrenic...either way, the boy is easily manipulated and influenced. He's even flunked the 9th grade TWICE because he just can't seem to pull it together long enough to do what needs to be done. And the step-dad is TOTALLY using that to his advantage. We all still love our nephew but until he gets his thinking straightened out, we all are having nothing to do with him. Once he figures out that his step-dad is using him and once the step-dad has used up all he can and discards him, he'll figure out who truely loves him and we'll welcome him back with open arms.

UGH! What a mess, huh? Well, I guess, for the most part, I just wrote this as a venting. Just had to get it all out before I blew up!

If ANYBODY knows of a VICIOUS attorney for a divorce...PLEASE send me names and numbers? Read my blog below and you'll see the need. The lawyer that she has is making us a little nervous as to whether or not he's up to the task. So PLEASE ANY information will be GREATLY appreciated.

I would like to know how a Judge can sign a “child support AND spousal support” order without even knowing ANY of the details of the marriage or separation? How is it that the husband’s attorney (paid for by his parents I might add) can go and just have this signed, sealed and delivered to the wife. Yes, you heard me right, the husband is wanting spousal support as he has refused to get a job to help support his family and the wife has done all the supporting/taking care of the family. Yes, she worked 40 hours a week at a very hard job then came home and waited on HIM hand and foot, cooked, cleaned, did the laundry, paid the bills, worried about how to provide for her family…she did it all! Oh, he CLAIMS that he is “always there for the child” but that just means he’s there to get the kid off to school in the mornings (which most of the time SHE did when she got home from work because he was too tired to wake his lazy butt up and help) and he’s more of an “adult” presence so she doesn’t have to pay day care while she sleeps or works. There was even a few times when the child missed the  school bus because the father fell back to sleep and missed it! So yeah, he’s real “quality” day care.

 

HE has promised MANY times before to go back to school, get his GED, learn a trade and GET A JOB! But he always seemed to have an excuse (smoking his weed was the biggest excuse) to not do what he promised. The wife tried and worked for many years to make this marriage work for the sake of the child and she finally just gave up and left. Well, she was given signed papers by a Judge in Ashtabula County today, stating that she is to pay HIM child support in the amount of over $400 per month AND spousal support in the amount of over $500 per month. And she hasn’t even had her day in court yet! I thought, in a divorce, that the couple was to go to mediation first, then if that didn’t work, THEN go before a judge and the judge decides who gets what. They haven’t even gone to mediation yet! The only thing that has been done is HE filed on her first, her lawyer answered back and they’ve both gone to those “parenting classes”. The child, that is between them, lives with BOTH the parents, the child lives with the father while the mother is working 3rd shift and while she sleeps during the day. The Mother then picks up the child from the father’s house (owned by his parents by the way) and spends evenings with the child. But she has been ordered to do this by the husband’s attorney filing first. It is stated in the divorce filing that the child is to be with the father when not with the mother. The father made certain this was done as he despises the wife’s family because we all see the pain that he's put her through and all of us see right through his little games. He made sure that the wife’s family wouldn’t be allowed to watch the child while the mother was at work. The mother, up till that time, had been leaving the child with her mother while at work and then getting the child off to school, then sleeping and then picking up after school. But a very sneaky attorney stopped that arrangement and made it to where the mother now only sees the child from 3 – 6pm Monday – Friday and every other weekend. The wife is constantly having to go and buy new clothes as the husband literally shoves the kid out the door and slams the door shut without any change of clothes, toys or anything when she shows up to pick up the child. The other thing that is disturbing, the mother has to listen to this child cry every time the child is told that it is time to go back to daddy’s. The child cries and asks why they can’t just stay at mommy’s house? The mother goes through this scenario every night.

 

Now, my big question is….why is nobody protecting the mother’s rights here? Just because SHE is the one who decided she’s had enough and walked on the deadbeat now she’s being punished by being FORCED to continue to support his lazy butt?? By the way, the mother’s attorney made some phone calls about it and the papers were null and voided as an “honest” mistake. A message to the judge in Ashtabula County,  I suggest you READ before you sign! Or at least TRY to get the facts about a divorce before signing any papers demanding child and/or spousal support. The poor woman didn’t even get a chance to tell you HER side of the story and you go and do this to her? How is that fair? Or maybe you and the opposing attorney are just “buddies” owing each other favors? Didn’t think the judicial system was supposed to work like that? People, I think we need to take a closer look at some of the attorney’s and judges in Ashtabula County. Seems to me that it’s all in “who you know” as to whether or not you win or lose in court around here.
