During our pre-pre-pre scrimmage coverage of Brett Favre and the Packers on Sunday night, I referred to the story as being akin to thoser "Bourne Identity" movies.  And after everything play out Sunday night, that's even more apt.  You can't kill Favre - he's just like Jason Bourne.  It may like completely implausible, but then there he is, coming out on top.  The media coverage of his return trip, with airplane tracking and everything, was as much like the movie series as you can find.  And when lightning delayed the activities at the stadium, Favre's landing had the stage to itself.  The whole thing might make a pretty good movie, or three.  Of course, there'd have to be a FOUR-th version.

Tim I can tell you, it was scary out at the ariport last night,(lighting strikes) while waiting for Brett's plane to land. But, it was worth it. Now as for it being any likeness to the 'Bourne Identity', aah perhaps.. But I am glad I chose to drive up to GB-airport instead of going to Lambeau. Seeing Brett's smile made my trip up from Milwaukee well worth it. I believe the Only news channel that had a 'tracking on his flight" was Fox6? I could be mistaken since I wasn't watching tv at the same time, just going according to what others have told me.. Tim thanks for all you do. You Rock.

It was the station you work at being so dramatic. No one forced them.
We would check on you guys between commercial breaks from a movie we were watching. We all laughed when Fox6 was tracking the plane. We agreed it was like watching the flight of Santa. Again, it's the media making a bigger deal out of this than anyone else. It's hype.
This really would be a good movie one day, but since we all get to enjoy the real thing, it would be pointless.
Brett Favre is unstoppable. He's proven that by his records. He hasn't been rude or insulting in any of his statements. Just honest.
I watched Rodgers' interview and even he thinks this is being blown up by the media.
He said, "I'm not as upset about this as you guys seem to think".
Aaron has shown real class and he is just trying to focus on the situation.
Whatever the outcome I just hope the hoopla dies down soon. Brett has a right to play. He isn't the first to come out of retirement. If he goes elsewhere, so be it. That won't be a first either. The only thing that has been surprising in this whole thing was the Packers offering Brett $20 mil not to play. Now, that's a first.

I think the media is taking this Favre thing to far... there are people killed in wars everyday, and all we hear about is "Brett's coming back"-"No hes gonna be traded"- will there be an end?
