The bread here STINKS! Nothing like Gino's or Pat's- Heck, I will take any sandwich that comes from philly these days- I found a place that delivers the meat and the rolls for out of staters like me- I am going to try them-

uhhh, the rolls from Geno's DO COME from out of state ... NJ in fact ...Lucios bakery .. enjoy ... also try Cacia's bakery. As for the meat ... you need rib eye not the cheaper cut.

I remember seeing chipped beef but I will be sure to try the rib eye- Thanks for the info

Yes, boneless ribeye ... frozen, then cut into thin slices while frozen. (most butchers will do this for you) I personally use just a hint of olive oil to fry the meat and onions. It's not Geno's but then again, nothing is!
