The dynamics of blogging on this site seem to be directly linked to extreme weather conditions. What I mean is if there is not an approaching snow storm or perhaps severe summer weather or a hurricane, it is clear that the blog traffic comes to almost halt. Rob G. still sustains some level of blog traffic on his site, but the rest of the bloggers shut down. We need to increase traffic for our Fox personalities, since it is clear from Rob Gs comments that the blog traffic impresses Fox management and corporate types. By having more comments = more interest , we are helping Rob G, David A, and Jim N.
So the question is how do we regenerate interest when severe weather is absent, but still remotely stick to the weather theme. So some ideas:
Have one of the FOX weather personalities host 30 minute blocks of ask the weather experts live, where they answer our specific questions about everything weather.
Weather Trivia with promotional prizes offered up by Fox 29 (Theater tickets, Fox Mug, Fox pencils)
What ideas do you have???
Just wandering if anyone had troubles removing the "slizzard" from their driveways and sidewalks. I certainly did as it seemed to have the same properties of concrete. It was not shovable and required good all brute force to remove with steel shovels and ice crackers.
Anyone else have the same troubles???
