"When the cow tries to scratch its ear,
It means a shower is very near.
When it thumps its ribs with its tail,
Look out for thunder, lightning, and hail."
-weather saying from New Jersey
Both man and beast....and women and children, too....will find it tough to stay comfortable outside today. The day started wtih a lot more sushine than Monday, and we expect to be at least five or six degrees warmer than yesterday; expecting a high of 91-degrees.
Plenty of humidity, both today and tomorrow, with those dewpoints not leaving the 70s.
Showers and thunderstorms pop up later in the day. They probably won't be as widespread as yesterday.
A more organized line of showers and storms comes through in the afternoon on Wednesday. That will result in more comfortable dewpoints on Thursday and Friday.
We'll take the break whenever we can get one!
