Weather
The jet stream will be taking a dive under the direction of a Canadian vortex.
What does this mean?
It means colder than average temperatures will be here for most of next week.
A series of cold front and low pressure systems will be riding into town tonight and tomorrow, providing us with a few showers and thunderstorms. Nothing extreme, just rather annoying.
Lows tonight will drop to 50 degrees in the Northwest suburbs to 55 degrees in the City.
Highs on Sunday will struggle to reach 69 degrees with hazy sunshine fading early. Most of the showers and isolated thunderstorms will begin around 11 AM and continue off and on throughout the afternoon. One third to as much as one half inch of rain can be expected by Sunday evening.
Monday looks very chilly with plenty of clouds, gusty winds and highs near 60.
