Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation ' s capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ?  

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I ' m supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was ' desecrated ' when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.  

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia. 

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for chopping off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat. 

 I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques. I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.  

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed 'special' food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled', you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care. 

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it ' s spelled  Koran  and other times Quran. Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don't care!!

I LOVED this story. This grandfather took a semester off the last year of highschool and ended up getting drafted and sent to Vietnam. I wonder if this move saved his life. He would have gotten drafted after he graduated anyway most likely. So, what if his semester off actually changed the course of events for this man that saved his life. Perhaps if he had been deployed a semester LATER, had he stayed in school,  he would have died in Vietnam.

He received an honorary diploma at Pattonville's graduation where his grandson also graduated.

It's not often that people stand up for good values. Especially when they are in the minority.

Too many people are shacking up out of wedlock and providing horrible role models for their children. There used to be a time when this was shameful.

I agree with you bubba. If this man in Black Jack really cared about anything other than having a maid to wash his clothes, make his dinner and pay half of his rent he'd, and SHE, would march down to the court house and prove it. But I suspect that would eliminate her state assistance.

I thought the liberal left's mantra was TOLERANCE. I thought their tagline was CHOICE. I thought they were opposed to JUDGEMENT.

They were incredibley INTOLERANT of Wash U.'s CHOICE to honor Phyllis Schlafly, JUDGING her to be unacceptable.

Thank you, once again, liberal left for outing yourselves for the hypocrits you are. It makes my job so much easier when very little effort has to be put into exposing your fraud. I think with my free time I'll go catch a movie. THANK YOU!

Thank you Wash U. for taking a stand for conservative, traditional values. Phyllis is a woman's woman. She speaks to the fact that not only do women (don't kid yourselves full time working moms with little ones) want to BE moms, and want to raise their own children, but that REAL men ARE CAPABLE of actually being real men and supporting their families.

It doesn't go unnoticed that the bulk of the protesters are young (they should grow up to abandoned their childish values) or men hating (need I say more?). The natural flow will have these young protesters GROW UP, become parents, pay taxes and adopt grown up, mature values, such as family and children.

I hope that both the boys and the girls will mature into adults worthy of children and family. I know that there came a day in my life when I had a light bulb moment. I realized how embarrassed I was that I had been a pro abortion, anti-man, UNfeminist and was against every unGodly thing imaginable. I became a mature, REAL feminist (one who loves being a wife and mother and shows it through my actions). Hopefully this will happen to the immature, brainwashed anti-feminists holding their silly little signs today.

Fact is children NEED and THRIVE on being cared for by their own mothers. They thrive on having a  mother and a father. Ask any child if they would prefer to be at home with mommy or at the daycare center with minimum wage paid "Ashley" 12 hours a day? Fact is it's NOT about YOU mom. But as nature would have it mom ALSO thrives with her children and her family intact.

So, you go Wash U. and Phyllis Schlafly! Keep standing up for what is RIGHT. Keep standing up for women and children, tradition and family. Keep speaking out on Godly values. The evidence of the alternative is clear. Our society has gone to hell in a handbasket. The proof is in the pudding.

St. Louis family church is encouraging those WITHOUT insurance to go to _________, can't remember the address, for help. The UNINSURED???????

Being unisured is IRRESPONSIBLE, but isn't it also illegal?? And why are we rewarding those who have chosen to go without insurance? Why are we ENCOURAGING this behavior? This is a liberal left idealogy. Just like rewarding bad and irresponsible behavior such as making illegitimate children by the truckloads, the CHURCH is now rewarding bad and irresponsible behavior too?????????

I'm all for helping those in need. But we should not be rewarding and encouraging those who have chosen to be irresponsible and uninsured. Those people who PAY their insurance premiums should be helped FIRST. And those who choose irresponsible and illegal paths over ther right paths should NOT be incouraged.

Don't forget Bubba that liberal Dems want the government to house them, feed them, raise their children, fix their personal problems, and send them to college.

They are for income redistribution, (i.e. put everyone's personal income in a pool and then distribute it evenly across the board). This should offend anyone who has ever gone to college or started their own business or in any way has taken personal responsibility for their own futrure. They are pro abortion and anti traditional marriage. (notice how I didn't say they are pro choice?) This is because they are only pro "choice" when it comes to killing the unborn. Miraculously they are against choice when it comes to MY choice to be against their choices. Things that make you go hmmmm.....

Their politics have a built in flaw. They bark tolerance while being INtolerant of intolerance itself. A catch 22 that even Bill can't cigar his way out of.

Having Paris Hilton, Jenna Jamison, Howard Stern and your garden variety inmate on your side should send you RUNNING, not walking to the other side. The fact that these people are part of YOUR team should make you cringe.

Simply growing up, paying taxes and becoming a parent should cure one of their liberalism. Just goes to show there is no cure for stupid.

You can't HIT a human being with your car and not know that the person is hurt in some way.

The teens didn't "make a mistake". What they made was a choice.

You are clearly part of the problem in our society. Perhaps with extensive counseling/therapy you can change the error of your ways and become part of the solution.

If it was YOUR loved one who was run over and left for dead I'm sure you would be singing a different tune right about now. That's usually how those, like you, with serious psychological problems are. They can't empathize. They can only see things from THEIR perspective. You can get help for that flaw.

I also find that people who attempt to defend a person who has done a terrible thing are usually guilty of something similar themselves and it's their way of alleving their own guilt.

This recent story has made national news. It's now on Mike and Juliette (or whatever the show is called).

What a sad state of what our society has become. And no, I'm not talking about what the Nanny did. I'm talking about mother's in our culture HIRING STRANGERS TO RAISE THEIR CHILDREN! When did it become ok for parents to be so busy and uninterested...so detached and blaaaasay about their own children that they can't be bothered by them 40 plus hours a week? I don't get it.

Shame on mothers who have the audacity to hand their children over to strangers to raise and then blame the stranger when their children aren't safe. People have children these days and feel the same responsibility for them as they would a parakeet. They drop their children off at daycares the same way they would drop their dog off at Kennelwood for the weekend.

It's SUCH a sad testimony to our country. America is full of mothers, and fathers alike, who simply don't care as much about their own children as they do their jobs.

This particular set of parents surely was well off enough for the mother to stay home and raise her OWN child if they had the money to throw away on some Nanny. Shame on them. There should be an uproar alright. But it should be over this mother and mothers just like her who are the real negligent ones,  yet have the nerve to blame the wrong person for what happens to their children.

MOTHERS, RAISE YOUR OWN CHILDREN.

Fox news recently reported that Charter had inadvertantly erased the contents of approximately 1000 of it's customer's e-mail inboxes.

They have done it again. Twice. The latest occurrance being on Feb. 11.

If you are among the customers I suggest you report it not only to Charter, but also to Fox.

Fox just reported that a man is upset that his wife had to go to work today (she works for the school district...it was cancelled for students). Apparently she slipped and needed 4 stitches in her chin.

This is the school's fault???????? Because they didn't close???????????? So, I guess if she falls and gets hurt during September when the whether is fine it's the school's fault because they WEREN'T closed? Give me a break!

She could fall ANY DAY OF THE YEAR while going to or from work and you could blame the school for it. She could get in a car accident on her way to work on the sunniest, clearest day of the year. You going to blame her employer then too?

That's absolutely ridiculous!

It's 9:45 pm Thursday. Fox 2 news is running school closings at the bottom of the screen (yet, irritatingly enough, there is nothing listed on the website). But WHEN are these schools closed???????????????? Does this list apply to TODAY? Or does this mean school is closed tomorrow: Friday???????????????????????? I have no idea!

Get with it Fox 2.
