If you were Silda Spitzer, would you stand by your man? Your response may be read on Good Day LA Tuesday morning. (Please include your first name and city).

the only reason this is even in the news is that it involves a politician I'm sure that agency had hundreds of clients .how Silda Spitzer and her husband work things out is for them to decide not the media or public opinion. George, Toluca Lake

Well, if I wanted to be governor of New York someday, of course I would stand by him. The martyr and loyalty cards are huge.

If he looked like the picture that you used this morning on TV when you asked the question? NO!!!! Superficial I know.

I would like to hear what Mrs. Spitzer has to say. Have her stand at the podium and address the press while he stands behind her quietly.

Definitely not. He paid other women to be intimate with him. How embarassing for his wife. There isn't any explaination to excuse what he did. He would be kicked to the curb.

What would she say to her daughter when she comes to her with teary eyes and a broken heart because she found her boyfriend in bed with another woman? "Oh dear they all do it, he is destined for greatness."

Okay. I think Mrs. Spitzer should do what she thinks is best. Not only for her kids but for herself as well. Matters like this have a tendency to make a relationship feel null $ void. With all the wrappings included.

This is one of the most painful things that Silda Spitzer is going through. She has the moral grounds for a divorce, gut it is up to her if she will forgive him and stay with him, or leave him.

On another matter...Steve, the Mount Baldy joke was crude! Will, you are a good sport for tolerating it!

I would stand by my man to make him miserable until he dies.

Unless he is willing to give her a "blow by blow" description of what went on, she should leave.

First of all, if I were Silda Spitzer I would change my name, PRONTO! Not only to remove myself from the stench my husband shrouded me with, but because it's just a repugnant name. And YES! I would leave the ugly bastard, take the kids, the house, all of it!

Being gainfully employed and being in love are two different things. I always thought that infidelity would be an absolute dealbreaker for me but now that I'm going thru it after 15years of marriage,I'm finding it much more difficult to leave than I thougth it would be and I'm very gainfully employed. I truly feel sorry for Mrs. Spitzer.

I would stand by him. Part of the marrital vows are usually "for better or worse" nobody would stay married if we didn't.

Whats sad is that her public private life will b on display at some point. Her kids will suffer emotionally/mentally. If she stays, it mite b political or just out of forgivness but every single aspect of their marriage will b done. It will never b the same again and somehow i dont believe its the first time shes finding out that her husband has cheated on her. There are always signs..women know it and many stay. Its between them.

I would definately leave him. He obviously isn't happy in the relationship if he has to pay for sex when he can get it at home for free. I believe if he hadn't been caught, this would have still been his dirty little secret.

These are public officials and are subject to the scrutiny of the voters. Eliot and Silda have been living this lifestyle on the public dole fo a while now. How they work it out is indeed their business, but still subject to public commentary. Everything is on the table. If she didn't want public commentary on this, she shouldn't have shown up to his one-minute press conference...ELIOT SPITZER NEEDS TO RESIGN!!! NOW!!!

I have a feeling that she is trying to stand by him for her children, and not so much for him. Can you imagine what they are going through? Three teenage girls who are going to have issues with trusting their boyfriends and husbands in the future because they can't even trust their own daddy.

First Dick Drizzle sounds like a venereal disease so it would be a bad name for Rick.
Second legalize prostitution and tax it like they do in Nevada.
Third if Slida stands by him she could get a slot on the tiket in 2016.
